Beauty is always unto the beholder,

When first I set eyes upon you,

You sent down my spine a beautiful shudder,

In your beauty I wish to stew.

The sun's rays cast off of your pure white,

Unlike Orchis I shall not drink,

Except of your essence, will be my delight,

No God or man shall ill of me think.

My eyes are drawn deep within your petals,

Into the very depth of your being.

I have lost my heart within your metals.

The Bacchanalians knew what they were doing.

Even Ernst Haekel could not do you justice,

Your beauty is beyond captivating,

You are an intoxicating spice,

That just keeps on invigorating,

Blowing my senses, unlike any vice.

I wish to shower you with rain,

To nurture you with love,

And to protect you from maltreatment and pain,

You are a jewel worthy of any treasure trove.
