Insanity

Day in, day out, I live,

My life a total mess,

Disorder and insanity thrive,

On my chaotic distress.

My mind can see,

In a world of insanity,

What eyes cannot perceive,

Because there is no reality.

A world gone mad,

With murder and rape,

It makes the soul sad,

That there is no escape.

The mind can flee,

But the body remains,

To never be free,

Because the shackle claims.

A world forever cursed,

Where brother kills brother,

Just to quench his thirst,

For the blood of another.

Corrupted souls abound,

All sold for mortal wealth.

The mind drawn underground,

For the Devil to take in stealth.

True darkness is alive,

At the very centre of man,

Waiting to break free and thrive,

On the insanity of man.

All around immorality lives,

The soul caught unbalanced,

As the world forever strives,

For wealth unchallenged.

The body cannot run,

From what cannot be seen,

The mind can have fun,

From everything obscene.

To see the world in its totality,

One cannot be totally sane,

To see our decadent society,

One must become insane.
