Chasing insanity

Run!

Never stop!

Just keep running!

Crow gawks,

Eye focused on me,

Head turning,

Following...

Caw out the time.

Fox bounds,

Flows out the way,

Under bush peers,

Stares straight,

Sly dirty smile.

Mouse skittles,

Hides in hole,

Whiskers twitching,

Winking knowingly,

No where to hide.

Rat saunters,

Unfazed, undaunted,

Master of the dark,

Casually on haunches preening,

Knowingly red eyes glowing.

Owl hoots,

Yellow eyes wide,

Head turning,

Round and round,

Swoops wings wide,

Wrap me in white.

Wolf growls,

Gnaws at chain,

Howls at moon,

Snaps at me,

Wishes to be free again.

Run!

Must keep running!
