Forever apart

Patches of cloud blotch the sky,

Sadly slowly sinking sun settles,

Atop the sea,

Spraying red arrows outwards,

Striking clouds of white into candyfloss.

Overwhelming pinkness flows back,

Dragging blackness behind.

Down, down, down, the heated orb sinks,

Its glow extinguished by the blue line.

Final rays struggle like a flame in the wind,

To hold onto the dying day.

Gone!

Fingers clasping no more,

The darkness now controls.

Empty, devoid, missing...

Peeking out from behind a cloud,

White light streams forth,

Penetrating the nothingness.

Soft silky smooth fingers feel,

The darkend lanscape,

Bringing faint light to comfort.

Sailing high above,

From cloud to cloud,

Chased by gentle breezes,

She wears her diamonds sparkling,

Upon black velvet dress.

Gliding, staring down,

Watching over all below.

Smiling, she waits,

For her lover to come with the day.

To bathe her in his love,

For but a few moments...

Enough it has to be.

Forever doomed to be apart,

Never to feel each others touch,

A curse willingly born,

So their child the earth can live.
