Cry of man

Day after day, sweeps on by,

Leaving a bitter taste behind.

We are today more powerless,

No matter what we try.

Where are the long gone days,

Where once we were revered?

It now seems to be a lie!

A dinosaur of antique note,

We stumble, where once we pranced.

All upside down, is what I can descry.

What need is there now for a man?

When no longer we are required?

Forcibly dragged into the future by a tie,

Somethings missing from our lives.

We gave it away willingly!

Our freedom as man, we let die.

Trapped ourselves in a web,

A construct of our own making,

By so doing, we have no right to cry!

Emasculated and utterly humiliated,

Only one way to escape this conundrum!

To the wild, we must fly!
