Squatters invade land they do not own,
Erecting structures illegally.
They think that off this land they won't be thrown,
Yet are shocked when it is done quickly.

With disbelief they cry foul,
Insisting it is their right!
This land is open, they scream and scowl!
They shout for this land, we will fight!

In one enraged swoop they rampage,
Burning, dancing, uncontrolled mayhem!
With savage contempt they cause damage,
Without using what is in their cranium.

Their own property they destroy,
Breaking down precious infrastructure,
Seeking victory through violence their ploy,
For land that is not theirs, this is their culture!

Burning vehicles, tyres and portable loo's,
They the mob, destroy with animal fervour,
Because they have nothing to lose,
They let the maddness them devour!

Woe for a land, who's government,
Does nothing against rioters and looters,
But rather casts historical statues on the pavement,
In the end the people are the only losers!
