Glasses forgotten at home,

Now the glaze has disappeared.

I look in disbelief at what I observe…

Expensive clothes from slave sweatshops!

Rampant greed from capitalism!

Starvation through continued atrocities!

Children killed in the name of protection!

Rape of lesbians to fix their nature!

Killing for hate and financial gains!

Farmers killed so none can identify!

Corrupt politicians spread their deceits!

Immense expenditure on weapons of mass destruction!

Outfits worn to provoke and shock sexually!

Criminals with more rights than victims!

Society encapsulated because of lawlessness!

Police brutality and killing justified!

Riots used to gain for the few, through abuse!

Freedoms stripped bare to safeguard us from ourselves!

Marginalization of minorities through reverse racism!

 Genocide running rampant, but ignored!

I feel sick…

I need to get home!

Glasses found and worn once more,

I see the world through my rose tinted glasses!

I smile in ignorant contentment…

Bedecked in latest fashions from who cares where?

Capitalism provides us all with its wealth?

Children starving, it is their parents fault?

Children killed in war are but collateral damage?

Lesbians are asking to be helped and showed the way?

They will not kill me if I do not flaunt my wealth?

There are plenty of farmers left, what is one farmer?

Politicians would not dare betray our trust?

We need weapons of mass destruction to protect?

It is our right to wear whatever we want?

Criminals will conform if their rights are kept?

In order to be safe we must live in secure confinement?

Police only serve and protect?

Riots are only perpetrated by hooligans?

I do not need to have too many rights or freedoms?

There is no racism except from the Caucasian race?

No government, would surely still allow…genocide?

All those things, I think I witnessed, cannot be true.

It is all fabricated for our entertainment.

We are a civilized world!

Ahhh…it is good I found my glasses.

The world is as it should be…
