Brown eyes

Dull brown, lifeless eyes,
Viewed from up near,
Scrutinized,
Found wanting,
Not beautiful.
Judged by others standards
Not your own,
Cannot see the shine,
Through teary eyes.
Misted over from sorrows infliction,
Judged, scorned, hurt,
For wanton childish jealousy.
Yet to life they come,
When ones deep love,
Does blow wind upon the ember,
Of passion of the heart.
To burn brightly,
Portals of the soul,
Open wide,
Brilliant piercing light shines,
Piercing darkness breast.
Bright brown eyes, glows,
Spreading beauty to voice orifice.
Smile does radiate,
Upon bleak features grim.
Petals open, as eyes do feast,
Upon passion words of prose,
Written by heart through hands,
Guiding pen like knife,
Upon white parchment skin.
Immerse in pleasures tale,
To lock homes strife outside,
Free from squabble,
At peace deep within.
Out there,
In the future time,
Happiness, true,
Does await,
Upon a steed of white,
Who will dance,
Gazing longingly, deeply,
To your very soul,
Through your dull brown eyes.
He will see you,
For who you are.
