Chapter 23

Shifa was feeling too calmed after so
many days, she couldn't remember
such calmness after her parents
death, the night was also giving a
soothing feel, she just wanted to feel
the calmness,she was so much lost
that she didn't realize when Akash
came. "Hello?What happened?"

"Akash you?When did you come?"
"When you were lost in your dream
world,but what are you thinking
hmm?",Shifa smiled warmly,
"Nothing,why are you here?Aren't
you feeling sleepy?" "Actually yes,
but I thought about checking on you"
"You go and sleep,I'll be here for
some time,I'm feeling so calmed you
know,I just want time stops right
here",seeing the calmness in Shifa,
Akash was worried about her.

"Are you alright?" "Yeah,I'm fine,
thanks for asking",she looked at the
sky and got lost.

Akash didn't want to go leaving
her alone,so he stood there
silently,he was also looking at the
sky,after some time he looked towards
Shifa and found tears coming out of
her eyes,she was crying silently.

"Shifa,what happened yaar?",as she
wasn't giving any response he again
called her by shaking her and Shifa
looked towards him.

"Why are you crying?Tell me
yaar!",hearing this she started crying
badly,tears was continuously coming
out of her eyes which made Akash
more worried and he balanced her by
grabbing her shoulder as she was
loosing her balance.

"Look at me!What happened?" "Nothing,I'm sorry,I shouldn't have
cried but I just couldn't stop myself,you you go and sleep,don't worry about me,I can I mean,please go,I don't need you",saying this she went away from Akash,there Akash was shocked or even I can say he was
disheartened by her words.

"I'm not going anywhere before you
tell me what happened!Tell me right
now dammit!",he said this by
grabbing her towards him,Shifa was
surprised by his action but didn't say
anything."Look at me Shifa,why are
you behaving like this!" "Sorry,I was
just missing my family,my Ammu
Abbu,you have such a good family
Akash",she said those in a broken
voice, "They're not only my
family,they're your family as well and
your parents they're right with
you,don't cry",saying this Akash was
about to wipe her tears but she went
away...

"Thank you Akash,means a
lot,but they're not my family,I want to
be alone for some time please",she
looked away and Akash was too hurt
by her action and words,he didn't
understand why she was behaving
like this after waiting for a few
minutes,he left the balcony.

There Shifa was looking at the sky
with tears in her eyes as if she was
talking with someone.
