I was walking back home from school, continuing to write a song in my notebook I had been working on for a week. I tap my pen on my chin as I try to think of the bridge before the chorus. Jeez, I was having a major brainfart today, I keep having to remind myself of the notes of the chromatic scale.

"Do, Re, Mi, Fa, So, La, Ti, Do..." I mutter under my breath as I jotted down a half note, soon humming the melody to see if it worked. I turn the corner, completely focused on my songwriting when I bump into somebody, knocking both of us down and I drop my notebook. I opened my eyes to see I knocked down a girl that looked around my age. I quickly get up and offered her my hand stating:

"I'm sorry, I wasn't looking where I was going, are you ok?" She takes my hand and I pull her up as she tells me: "Yeah, I'm sorry too, I'm kinda in a rush," She finally looks up at me and her eyes slightly widen as she stares at me for a moment.

I took a moment to look her over, she had (h/l) (h/c) hair, and (e/c) eyes. I then looked over her clothes, they worked well for her. Her gaze turned to the ground before she picked up my notebook and handed it to me saying "Here's your notebook." "Thanks, I don't think I've seen you around-" I try to say when she cuts me off with:

"Sorry but I'm kinda in a hurry have a nice day!" I watch in confusion as she starts running off in the opposite direction of me and I call out to her. "W-wait!" She didn't listen and continued on her way as I wondered what just happened. I shrug before making my way back home. "Luka! Where were you?! Didn't you hear about the Stoneheart attack?! It's dangerous outside!" My sister, Juleka exclaims as she meets me at the door with worry.

"Sorry sis, I kinda met someone on my way home." "What? Who?" She asks and I shrug at her as my thoughts return to that strange girl and I answer back. "I dunno, she ran off before I could get her name." I wonder who she is?
