<A/N at the end huns.>

"Are you saying this because you care, or because it makes you sound good and almighty?"

Harry still looks at me with a glare on his face. I could see him next to a girl. I take a better look at her and realize it's the waitress from the diner. "And she is here because?" Harry asks Liam, who stands besides me. I felt as if I wasn't wanted, when just hours ago Harry was inviting me.

"She didn't want to stay in. What's the big deal?" Harry looked as if he was about to punch Liam in the face, yet Liam didn't look scared at all. He's probably dealt with this many times before. I would find it hard to believe that Harry had never gone home angry.

"Fine she can stay, but keep her away from me." Harry says before turning on his heel and walking back to his group of friends I didn't recognize. Why was he being so mean? Had I done something?

"Don't worry about him he's in some type of mood." Liam says trying to make me feel better. I desperately wanted to say it worked, but it didn't, not this time. I felt more upset right now than any other time that Harry has fought me on things.

"I should've stayed at the apartment." Liam looks at me and gives me a sympathetic smile. I felt as if I didn't belong in this frat party. I was the ugly duckling in a group of beautiful golden ducklings.

"Sarah, listen to me Harry is just being an asshole for no reason. Don't even pay attention to him tonight." Liam was right, I didn't need to even see Harry tonight in this big, crowded party. I could just stay with Liam and his girlfriend all night. "Wanna come help me find Sophia?" I immediately nod and Liam leads the way. The last time I saw her I really didn't speak to her, and I wanted to get to know her.

The house was trashed the same way as last weekend. A whole week has gone since I've been home, since I've seen the people I've lived with all my life. Kristina still hasn't answered any of my texts or calls, and I was starting to get worried. One time she tells me to call everyday, the next I'm completely oblivious to her. I'm hoping my mother was okay home alone, without me making sure she eats in between drinks. I could always say I didn't care about her, but that wasn't true, she didn't care about me.

Out of the corner of my eye I could spot Liam's girlfriend. Even though I've only seen her once, I could spot her anywhere. She was truly beautiful. "Hi!" Sophia says jumping into Liam's arms. She turns to face me and pulls me in for a hug. "You're Sarah right?" I nod my head in response instead of speaking over the loud music.

"And you're the infamous Sophia." Liam has told me so many things about how beautiful, kind, and caring Sophia was. He had even told me he loved her, and that she was it for him.

"I am. I hope Liam has said good things about me." I couldn't imagine a time where Liam would say anything rude about anyone, even Harry.

"Of course they are all good things. He loves you." Sophia scrunched her nose and looks at Liam, who has his arms wrapped around her waist. It was as if he was holding her to protect her, to guard her. Signaling he would always be there for her.

"I'm a lucky girl, but enough about us. Tell me about you Sarah." I tell Sophia my love for classical literature, and how my father inflicted it on me. I had told her about Kristina, and some parts about David. When I told her I was attending the university on Monday she got all giddy and said we had to get lunch on campus, my first day there.

I felt as if I had finally made the right friends. The ones who listen and help me. Sophia had told me if I needed anyone to talk to she was there and that made me feel lucky. We exchanged numbers and laughs for quite a bit until Zayn comes over to say hi. I hadn't seen him that much this week, and it was nice to have him here. He was wearing a black sweater and black jeans with combat boots. I never would understand why these boys wore so much black.
