"I told you everything, opened up and let you in. You made me feel alright for once in my life. Now all that's left of me, is what I pretend to be. So together, but so broken up inside."

"David who was that girl?" This wasn't the first time I had caught David in bed with some other tramp. He had promised that I was going to be the only girl in his bed form now on, but I should've known better than to believe him.

I just stand over his bed, while he does nothing. He doesn't acknowledge what I say, and I don't think he even cares that he's let me down again. David is just a wave of disappointment every time.

"She's just some friend, Sarah. We weren't doing anything, she just needed somewhere to crash." I cross my arms in front of my chest, and I keep my stare down at the floor. I didn't want David to see me teary eyed.

"She was crashing in your bed? Naked? What the hell David? You promised me." I shake my head in disbelief. I actually believed for a moment the other night that he was serious. Wasn't he scared of losing me?

"She was overheated from drinking all night, and so was I. I mean, you wouldn't want some girl to drink and drive right? Sarah you always want the best for people." I don't believe any of his shit about her being "overheated". He just wants an excuse out of this, but not this time.

"David, I've learned something just now, and I'm so happy I made this fucking revelation!" I was practically shouting at this point. I couldn't stop, I was just too angry. "You're a lying, cheating bastard. I can't trust a word that comes out of your mouth David. You'll always need other girls in your bed, and I'm not staying here for that." I start walking out of the room, when David grabs a hold of my arm.

He turns my body so I can face him. His eyes are dark with anger, and I start to get worried for a second. "You think you'll get anywhere without me? You're a whore Sarah like the rest of them." David pushes me into the mirror behind me, and it shatters right upon contact.

I fall onto the floor with the broken glass. The broken pieces showing how broken my life has truly become. What have I gotten myself into? How could I stop this all?

David stands over me and yells nonsense at me, until suddenly he falls onto the ground with a loud thud. I look up and see Kristina standing over him with a golf club in her hand. No doubt it's the one her dad told her to keep in her trunk, just in case something happens.

Kristina helps me up off the floor, and I instantly grab hold of her and hug her. She saved me from whatever David could've done next.

"Don't stay here too long. Go get your things, you are to staying here anymore Sarah." It takes my mind a minute to register what Kristina was saying. I had to leave town, which was one of her biggest fears ever.

I go into the living room and gather up all my clothes, and my small belongings. I grab David's car keys, and I don't think twice before taking some money out of his wallet.

I still couldn't believe Kristina had told me to leave without her. But then it hit me like a ton of bricks. She let me go, because she loved me more than I ever could've imagined.
