Chapter Twenty Three: Protect Zane!

Arrow's POV

This actually can't be happening right now....

But it is...

Now don't get me wrong. This is impressive. The fact that they built this entire area within a building.

How they have done it without anyone noticing is beyond me though.

Yet that doesn't give me any confidence in escaping. They have this place locked down. Every place covered in cameras. No way out...

I am currently sitting on a wooden step in front of this pretty big house.

This must of taken them months to build all this.

I put my hand through my hair. "Can't believe this," I whisper.

"You play along or you know what will happen," I hear Duke say in my ear.

"Your the star of the show don't fuck this up!" Mike says now.

"I know," I say back.

So it seems Duke and Mike know way too much about me.

Yet again somehow I've put my family in danger. He has Colin, Luca and Tyler and promised to not hurt them if I go along with there stupid twenty four hour movie...he gave me no fucking choice but too!

For some bizzare reason I'm his main character...this is just beyond crazy.

I saw the boy approaching me. He couldn't be no older then about fourteen. His eyes gaze over me.

"Are you Arrow?"

I nod. "That's me. Your Zane?"

"That's me. I'm pretty scared," Zane says.

"I'm sorry...about your parents. When he told me I couldn't believe it, yet I still get shocked what some people do even though I've seen people do a lot of terrible things. If we can get through this...I promise I'll do all I can to get justice for your parents and find you a home. Let's get through this together," I say offering out my hand to him.

"How could you," he begins.

"I'm social worker and run Embrace. It's my job too. I know this is scary and messed up but stay with me kid and we really might make this out alive."

He takes my hand and I give him a comforting embrace.

"Five minutes to show time kids. Remember you are brothers and you have two gay dad's. You both are close but your about to go through hell of a ride. I choice you two for a reason react and do as you would in real life!" Duke tells us.

I feel my heart beating faster in my chest now. I can't help but wonder what we are about to get put through here.

I mean he choice me for a reason...he knows all I've been through...that's why I'm worried about what is about to happen here.

I fit this character perfectly apparently....shit!

Five minutes went in a flash. I tried to hold myself together but mostly for this boy beside me, Zane.

"Hey boys why you both out here huh?" asks a short but thin man wearing glasses.

"Not much really," Zane says first.

"I," but I never got to finish as I spot a figure across the street getting out a white van.

No...how...I don't..how is this possible?

"What is wrong Max?" Zane asks first.

I look at Zane unable to find any words. I don't understand this at all...
