Sitting with the other guys at lunch, they talked about the most random things.
I was sitting between Su-hyeok and Gyeong-su.
As I was eating the rice with my chopsticks, I zoned out.
"Hey, N/n. What do you think?" I heard Su-hyeok call out to me with my nickname.
I blushed a bit.
"Huh?" I asked, not having listened to their conversation.
"Do you like the food?" Gyeong-su asked me.
"Do you really want me to start my monologue?" I questioned jokingly.
The guys laughed and went back to talking as I continued munching on my rice.
But I could still feel someone stare at me.
Looking up, I immediately locked eyes with Su-hyeok.
"What's up?" I asked.
"Do you wanna go to my place tonight?" He asked, smiling.
My eyes widened.
"You know, to chill, play videogames, watch movies, do whatever you and I want to?" He continued.
There was some kind of hopefulness in his eyes.
"Uh, well...I" I didn't know what to say.
It was like I had forgotten the word yes.
I looked at my fiddling hands, searching for the coolest answer in my head.
Should I say: Sure, bro!
Nope. Nope.
Maybe: Count me in, dude!
No. Just no.
Shit what do I say, what do I say.
My thoughts were cut off by Su-hyeok grabbing my chin lightly to make me look up at him again.
This time his face was much closer than before.
He put a strand of hair behind my ear as he was waiting for my answer.
"I...." I said.
"No it's okay, you don't have..."
I cut him off.
"What are you talking about? Of course I'd like to come. I'm sorry... I just zoned out for a minute or something" I nervously scratched the back of my head while smiling like an idiot.
He chuckled.
"Cool, I'm looking forward to it"
After that he went back to talking with the others while Gyeong-su, who had noticed everything hit me with this look:

Oh no.
"Y/nnnn" He started.
"No. Don't say a thing"
"But-"
"Nope"
"Y/-"
"Uh-uh"
"I-"
"Shush"
He looked at me, defeated.
"Well, I'm done." I stood up, looking at my empty tray sadly.
