A few days prior:

"Y/n, we need to tell you something"

I looked at my parents, awaiting for what they had to say.

"What is it, dad. And... why is Gyeong-su here?"

"Well, we wanted to tell you, that...Gyeong-su's parents are very sick"

"Oh... I'm very sorry, Gyeong-su..." I said, turning to look at him.

"That wasn't the most important thing. You see....we adopted you 15 years ago and just found out that..."

"Gyeong-su here is your biological brother."

My jaw slacked as I stared at them and then at Gyeong-su.

"Wha-" I started.

"Wait, that's not all. Since his own adoptive parents are this sick, they've asked us to take Gyeong-su in after the big exam week." Dad said.

Gyeong-su was smiling nervously at me, waiting for my response.

"You're going to move in..? You're my brother?!"

I felt intense happiness fill my body as I jumped to hug him.

I had always wanted a sibling.

And someone like Gyeong-su would be the best option for a brother.

I mean, he had always already acted like a brother to me.

Gyeong-su hugged me back as my parents came to hug us as well...

As Gyeong-su pleaded for the others to believe him, I held his shoulders, looking at his scared face.

My mouth was opened halfway as I didn't know what to say to him.

He looked at me, close to letting tears fall.

"Y/n" He cried.

I hugged him tightly, tears forming in my eyes as he hugged me back.

"GET AWAY FROM HIM!" Everyone yelled at me, but I couldn't.

"What do I do, N/n?" Tears started rolling down his cheeks.

"This doesn't make any sense, I..." I hugged him tighter.

"How can this be so suddenly?"

Cheong-san stepped towards us, trying to pull me back, his own heart breaking.

"NO!" I yelled at him as I started sobbing.

Gyeong-su suddenly pushed me away.

"Don't come closer! I'm going to turn"

"S-shut up"

As he started twitching, I went back to holding him.

"Y-Y/n" He stuttered.

"It's going to be okay...I..." 

Su-hyeok quietly called out to me, telling me to come to him for my own safety.

"We need to throw him out! We're all gonna die!" Na-yeon screamed.

"What's happening?" Gyeong-su stuttered as he looked around.

"GET OUT!" Na-yeon screeched.

"SHUT UP!" I screamed while choking on my tears.

"No, I'll leave by myself! I'll go out on my own...."
