Amelia can feel her heartbeat fast habang tinitigan ang middle age na Chinese man. She can also feel her sweat travelled from her temple towards her neck.
Nakikipag tagisan ito ng tingin sa kanya, and if she broke eye contact now. She knew that she couldn't make him agree on her terms.
The soap Mr Hao's business's offering is lower compared to the other company. She had to cut some expenses on the soap provided by the hotel after their provider back out of their deal. Kailangan kasi nilang mag cost cutting. Pero hindi niya hahayaan na maalaman pa iyon ng Chinese na kaharap. She was taking a gamble but she was willing to take a risk.
Meron pa siyang ibang nakausap na company. Mas mahal nga lang ng 2 percent but if Mr. Hao wouldn't accept the offer. Then she has no choice. But she was sure that he would accept. Kita niya na ang pamumuo ng butil ng pawis sa mukha nito. He looked nervous than she is.
Binawi nito ang tingin sa kanya. Butil butil na pawis ang namuo sa mukha nito na agad nitong pinunasan.
Amelia exhaled a shaky breath but it was so subtle dahil agad din siyang ngumiti. The American also smirked and looked in Mr Hao's way. She leaned back and looked at Sam's way na napanganga sa ginawa niya.
That's lesson number 2, Sam. Don't let them intimidate you.
Sam shook her head and smiled at her. Hindi ito nag salita at naupo na lang sa katabi niyang upuan.
"You're good."
Ibinulong nito iyon na ikinangiti na lang ni Amelia.
"Well then. What designs do you want the soap to be packaged in? Any idea for the shape? Or you don't want any designs?"
Mr Smith asked her.
Ito kasi ang taga gawa ng design ni Mr. Hao. The Chinese man's business is soap manufacturing and Mr. Smith is the designer of his brand's identity. Kaya kasama din ito ngayon sa meeting nila.
Amelia told them what designs she wants and they agreed. Naka-discount pa siya dahil ayon kay Mr. Smith. He will do the packaging for Mr. Hao 3 percent lesser if the Chinese man will give her a 2 percent discount. Pumayag naman ang Chinese dahil mas malaki ata ang matitipid nito.
Amelia stood up and shook both of the business man's hands. Una niyang kinamayan si Mr. Hao na muling nag alcohol pagkatapos siyang hawakan.
Umangat ang labi ni Amelia. The man has a weak personality. Madali lang niya itong mamanipula para sa mga susunod nilang transaction. And his soaps are natural and has a fresh fragrant smell na pina-try niya na noon sa ibang guest ng hotel.
She wasn't offended at all by his show of dominance dahil ganun daw kapag weak ang personality. They show themselves as an aggressive person and showed their dominance early on.
"It's a pleasure to be working with a woman such as yourself, Mrs Montenegro." Mr Smith smiled at her and shook his head. Bago ito umalis ay hinalikan nito ang pisngi niya at bumulong sa tenga niya. "If you need anything. Don't hesitate to call me. It's a pleasure to be working with a brilliant woman, such as yourself."
Amelia smiled at what she heard. Kung ganun lang din sana ang tingin ni Christian sa kanya. Instead of him being intimidated and insecure about how she handles the business. Wala sana silang pag tatalunan.
"Thank you, Mr Smith."
The American liked the way she handled the Chinese man. He told her after their dinner. Kaya pala siya nito tinulungan.
Amelia looked at the two business man nang lumabas na ang mga ito ng function room. Iniligpit naman ni Sam ang mga folders na ginawa nito.
"That went well."
"Thanks, Sam." Inayos ni Amelia ang buhok niya at tinitigan si Sam. She made sure that her eyes became hooded as they settled on the younger woman.
Natigilan ito at umiwas ng tingin sa kanya.
Amelia grinned. She likes to tease Sam dahil kitang kita niya agad ang reaksiyon nito sa mga ginagawa niya. She thought that it was impossible to seduce a woman like Samantha but she was wrong.
She enjoyed their interaction more than the interaction she had with Christian. There is something alluring and sensual in the way Sam looked at her sometimes. It's turning Amelia on, na dapat ay hindi niya nararamdaman dito.
Nauna na itong mag lakad palabas ng function hall.
Umiling si Amelia.
Sam is so hard to crack. Lagi itong umiiwas sa kanya. And she knew that Sam must have been weirded out by her behaviour.
Who would do what she was doing to Christian's mistress? Siya lang. She wants to resolve the issue between her and the heir of the Del Rio without a buzz happening.

"What I did back there? That's lesson number 2, Sam."
Amelia said that nang nasa highway na sila.
Nilingon niya ito and her lips tugged up in a corner nang lumingon ito sa kanya. There was irritation in Sam's eyes. She looked uncomfortable in the small space she had given her.
Gusto kasi ni Amelia na magdikit ang mga binti nila sa sasakyan. She couldn't seduce Sam if they're skin is not touching. Kaya kagaya ng ginawa niya kanina. Hindi siya umusod.
"I'll appreciate it, Boss, if you had given me space. But yeah. I get what you are trying to show me."
Umalog ang balikat ni Amelia sa pagtawa but she wouldn't give Sam the satisfaction of agreeing to what she said. Lalo siyang lumapit dito. She can finally crack Sam's defenses.
It was giving her a thrill and her heart is beating fast with excitement as she looked into Sam's eyes.
"Samantha."
Sam closed her eyes tightly. Bago ito umisod palayo sa kanya.
Amelia pursed her lips.
Umusod na siya palayo dito dahil alam niyang napaka uncomfortable na talaga ng pwesto nito. Sam was squeezing herself on the tiny space near the window.
The younger woman exhaled a breath and looked at her. Kita niya sa peripheral vision niya nang umusod ito palapit sa kanya.
She used that chance para umusod naman palapit dito nang hindi nito inaasahan.
"What are you doing, boss?" Sam said. "Gusto mo lang bang maging uncomfortable ako?"
"Sam. Do you want to change your mind about hooking up with my husband?"
Amelia swallowed the lump in her throat. Sam looked at her. Ang intense ng titig nito sa mga mata niya. Then it went down her lips.
Nanginginig man ang mga kamay. Amelia put her hands on Sam's knees. Namungay ang mga mata nito nang tingnan ang mga kamay niya. Ilang minuto na tumagal ang titig nito sa kamay niya.
"Boss, this is a breach on employee, employers contract." Inalis nito ang kamay niya sa tuhod nito.
Amelia realized that they are already back in the RC2 building nang huminto ang sasakyan. Sam immediately went out.
Umibis din sa sasakyan si Amelia. She thanked the driver before looking at Sam's walking figure. Mabilis ang mga hakbang nito.
She smiled. Sam is not easy to seduce but will it be worth it kung mahuhulog ito sa bitag niya?
