Wonwoo - Ferris Wheel pt 2

You laughed out loud at something Wonwoo had just mentioned as the two of you walked in the now rather deserted city night.

Wonwoo looked at you amused and said, "No one has ever laughed so loud at my joke before."

"Really?" You said, surprised, "You're really funny."

Wonwoo shook his head with a smile on his head and said, "All of my members find me not funny. I'm probably the most boring member. Even my family thinks I'm boring."

"Well I think you're funny," You told him, "Everyone else just has terrible sense of humor."

"Thank you," Wonwoo told you.

After that day with in the amusement park, the two of you had exchanged numbers before getting out of the Ferris Wheel cart.

At first you had received no messages from Wonwoo and soon you too had also forgotten about him, getting busy with celebrating the new year and going back to Seoul to start work again.

It was nearly two weeks after when Wonwoo first contacted you.

It was simple request to go out for some coffee together and you agreed, thinking that there is really no harm to it.

One coffee hangout soon become into two and the next thing you know is the two of our regularly meeting up.

If you were to be honest, you weren't sure what exactly is your relationship with Wonwoo. You knew the two of you weren't exactly friends yet, at the same time you were also sure that the two of you are also not dating, although the relationship is slowly heading towards that direction.

You can feel the change in your relationship and you are sure Wonwoo can do too.

"I guess we're here," You said when the two of you finally reached your apartment building, stopping at a distance away from the entrance.

You turned to the side to face Wonwoo as he did the same to look at you.

"I guess we are," Wonwoo said.

The two of you stood in silence for some moments, feeling the cold winter air nip at your bare skins.

You cleared your throat when the air become awkward and the tension in the air became heavier.

"Um. . ."You hummed, trying to think of something to say.

"hey," Wonwoo said, "Are you free on Saturday night?"

"Saturday night?" You said, thinking through your schedule, "Yeah I'm free, why?"

"I was wondering if you want to go out for dinner," Wonwoo asked, scratching the back of his neck as he avoided looking in your eyes.

"Dinner? Yeah I don't mind, let's do that. You can decide the place this time. Just text me and I'll be there," You told him casually.

"Actually. . .do you mind if I pick you up," Wonwoo asked calmly.

"Pick me up? But I can just go on my own," You frowned, not sure why Wonwoo wanted to suddenly pick you up.

"It's okay, I want to," Wonwoo said.

You shook your head and told him, "But it's fine Wonwoo. I don't want to bother you. I'll just get there on my own."

"Y/N. . ." Wonwoo said slowly, looking a bit troubled, "Can't you see I'm trying to ask you out on a date."

There was brief silence as you processed his words, your cheeks turning pink as soon as you realized what he said.

"Oh. . .uh. . .um. . .s-sure," You fumbled over your words embarrassingly, "Y-you, do whatever you want."

This time it was Wonwoo who chuckled and he said, "I'll see you Saturday then. Just be like you always are. You're already pretty enough."

Seventeen's first offline concert after like more than 2.5 years is finally here!! I'm excited to see the fan cams and videos (even tho they would be illegally uploaded) but its literally the only source I have. Hopefully I will get tickets to see them live and I can't wait to see them in actuality.
