Himiko's New Friend (3)

     In the middle of Biology, Himiko raised her hand. "Yes, Miss Yumeno?" the teacher asked.

    "Nyeh...may I go to the bathroom?" Himiko asked.

    "Why, so you can go look for Guki?" Junko teased. Himiko glared at her. 

    "That is quite enough, Miss Enoshima!" the teacher scolded. "Yes, Miss Yumeno, you may go to the bathroom." Himiko stood up and left to go the bathroom. On her way there, she had to pass by her locker. When she did, she let out a horrified gasp. On her locker were giant words scrawled in creepy, red writing: "Get out, Yumeno!" Himiko ran back to Biology and burst through the door in a panic.

   "MY LOCKER!!!" Himiko shouted. "QUICK!!! SOMETHING HAPPENED TO IT, AND I THINK GUKI DID IT!! I CAN PROVE TO YOU THAT SHE'S REAL!!!" The other students stood up immediately, eager to see the evidence.

   "Class, class! Sit back down!" the teacher commanded, but nobody listened to him. He sighed and followed everyone else to Himiko's locker.

   "Okay, I'm going to prove to you guys that Guki is real, and that she must have done something to my locker!" Himiko marched over to her locker. "SEE?!" she faced them and gestured over to her locker.

    "There's...nothing there, Himiko," Sayaka said with a confused look on her face. Himiko whirled around and looked at her locker which looked as normal as it always had. Himiko's mouth dropped open.

    "B-But...I...b-but...I..." Himiko stuttered. 

   "A-Are you t-trying to prank us, or something?!" Toko asked. 

   "Yes, you are Kokichi's girlfriend, after all," Peko said, crossing her arms. "You two have pulled a lot of pranks lately. How do we know this isn't another one of them?"

   "Or maybe Himiko's just delusional and seeing things," Leon mocked. The class began to laugh. Tears formed in Himiko's eyes. 

   "No!! It's not a prank!! It's not a delusion!! It's Guki!!" Himiko cried.

   "Haha, hey, that should be the slogan of some kind of toy for kids!" Leon laughed. 

  "It does sound like that, doesn't it?" Junko agreed. "You must be 18 or older to order your Guki! Order now!" Some of the students laughed nastily while others looked sympathetically at Himiko. 

    "That's enough," the teacher scolded his students. "Everyone, back to class." He turned to Himiko. "Miss Yumeno, I would like to see you after school." Himiko hung her head and tried to fight back the tears. Later that day, after school was over, Himiko explained to Tenko and Angie that she had to stay behind to talk to her Biology teacher for disrupting class. Himiko went to the Biology classroom where the teacher had been waiting for her. 

   "Miss Yumeno, now that you're here, I want you to fill this chalkboard with the words 'I will not disrupt class,'" he said. "Fill the entire thing with that, and then you can leave. Do I make myself clear?" Himiko nodded reluctantly. "Good," the teacher continued. "I have to leave for an appointment, so I won't be here with you. Again...the ENTIRE board!" Himiko felt nauseous at the thought of being completely alone after school. The teacher left the classroom, leaving Himiko by herself. Tears streamed from her eyes as she began writing the words. It was an eerie feeling being left alone in the classroom with nobody else around. The silence was so creepy that Himiko began writing as fast as she could. It wasn't long before she heard a tap at the door. Himiko froze in fear, looking at the door which had a tall, narrow window the same height as the door so that one could see in and out. Himiko walked over to the door to peek out. Her breath became shaky and uneven.
