Isabellas POV
I got into the house and went straight to my room the lights were out and no one was downstairs so I assumed that my mama and papa had went to sleep already it was only a few minutes past 8:00 so I wasn't that late getting home, I walked up the stairs quickly but quietly no wanting to wake anyone up I got to my room and opened the door walking inside before shutting the door back and turning around to turn on the light, when I turned on the light Samantha appeared sitting on my bed and scaring the living hell out of me,
"Hello you 20 minutes late getting home" she said taping her phone
"Jesus Christ you scared the hell out of me I thought you went home" I said
"Naw I was going to but then your parents invited me to stay for dinner and man your moms cooking was just sooooo good and plus I wanted to get the details on your date" she said
"You are unbelievable" I said she shrugged
"You love it now come sit and spill the tea I don't think I could sleep without knowing everything" she said I rolled my eyes at my bestie and smiled before taking a seat on the bed next to her as I began to fill her in on everything that happened tonight even somethings with Erica everything except the club thing.
"That's a lot I can't believe Alex did that want me to kill him?" She asked I chuckled "no he apologized at the end turns out he was just nervous" I said she rolled her eyes "look he's a good guy which is why we agreed to be friends, I think you were right" I said "about what I'm right about a lot of things" she said smugly which made me roll my eyes at her "that bad boy/girl thing I don't think I'm made for the good guys or girls I always end up falling for the bad guys/ girls who just so happens to be assholes as well" I said she sighed and pat me on the back "if it makes you feel any better you were right too I think I'm starting to catch feelings for Max" she said I looked at her surprised "wait really?!" I asked "yeah something about seeing him in handcuffs" she said I raised an eyebrow at her "you are so weird" I said laughing "ugh I know" she said putting her face in her hands in a embarrassed manner,
"Hey can I sleep here tonight I'm to tired to drive" she asked
"Of course I love when you sleep over" I said she smiled "great I'm taking the squashy this time" she said "wait no Sam I always sleep on the squashy you know that" I said "Too late I'm already laying on it" she said getting underneath my bedroom covers I sighed "ugh fine you win this time" I said "yes victory" she said I rolled my eyes playfully at her and laughed "alright I'm going to go take a shower and change out of this dress" I said she just waved me off as she snuggled up in my bed.
(The next day at school)
I was at my locker with Sam when Max and Alex came walking up, "guys you won't believe the week I had" he said causing us to turn and look at them, and I came face to face with Alex for the first time after what happened, "Uh hi Isabella.." Alex said awkwardly "hi" I said just as awkwardly as it then went silent Max looked between us confused I'm guessing Alex hadn't told him about what happened.
"Ok I don't know what's that about but I just spent a whole weekend in a jail cell with a freaking drunk and a crazy old man who smelt like a bum" he said me and Sam had to try and stop ourselves from laughing, "I see this is funny to you and I'm pretty sure when I left the police station a little girl stole my wallet" he said and that was our last straw me and Sam both started laughing in his face.
"Your dad really put you in jail" she said laughing
"Yes Sam yes glad your happy with my pain"'he said making us laugh even more, a few minutes later we stoped and was finally able to catch our breath again. "Anyways what happened to you guys, get grounded?" he asked
