A small huff escaped your nostrils as you ran a hand over your hair and leaned your cheek on your palm, eyes glued to the text in front of you. It was more of a frustrated and desperate try to understand what the textbook was explaining to you, than it was studying what it was saying.

Yet one loud huff and it was enough to summon the occasional nuisance that is your boyfriend. The moment his footsteps echoed out in the appartment you had to hold yourself back from sighing.

"I hear huffs and puffs~" the coo came and you closed your eyes tightly as you clutched the pen in your grip, "so, tell me. Why we pouting and huffing?"

Once you opened your eyes you were met by the face of Niki, who just stood and stared at you with wide and curious eyes, blinking a few times to add onto the annoyance you felt in the exact moment. This meant that you couldn't help but roll your eyes at him.

"I saw that!" he exclaimed loudly and smacked his palm on the table before accusingly pointing at you, "I saw that roll, now you have to tell me what's bothering you," he announced and leaned his head in both of his palms sending you an exaggerated smile and blinking his eyes yet another few times.

"Unless you can understand what is in my textbook I suggest you leave right now," you warned sternly and he let out a small giggle at you before shaking his head, "Niki, please."

"No, because when you get in these moods it's very essential that I am here to cheer you up," he announced and you just continued to stare at me, "alright, I know what to do."

You watched in silence as he abruptly got away from the kitchen table and rumaged through cupboards and grabbing something from the fridge. It was first when he turned around that you realized he had grabbed two packages of taiyaki and some flavoured milk from the fridge.

"You follow me," he sternly spoke and raised both his eyebrows at you, as if daring you to defy him.

With a heavy sigh you got up from where you sat and followed him down towards your bedroom. He was quick to put down the snacks by your nighttable and flopped down on your bed, having pulled your blankets aside.

"Come on... sit," he urged and patted the spot between his legs.

You just stared at him for some time before wandering over and flopping down on your bed, leaning up against his torso, his chest functioning as a pillow for you. Meanwhile Niki couldn't help but let out a small laugh at how you curled up against him and how it looked when he had draped the blanket over you.

"Let's watch yoru favorite show," Niki urged and got out his phone as his other arm wrapped around your shoulders and pulled you closer to him, "then I'll unwrap your taiyaki and open your chocolate milk in just a bit."

"I just wanna sleep," you murmured and he chuckled softly as he found your favorite show on his phone, and quietly shoved into your hands. Almost immediately you grabbed his phone and almost shoved it up into your face.

"Red bean or cream?" Niki questioned and grabbed the two taiyakis he had brought for you. When you didn't answer him he looked down at you in confusion - smile softening as he saw you picking at the dry skin on your nose while you were too engrossed in your show to even notice he had spoken to you.

Instead of asking you once again Niki just broke both taiyakis in half and handed you both halves - one from each kind. The chocolate milk he had gotten for you just had to get a straw poked through and once he handed it to you, you just immediately grabbed it and began sipping.

"So much for being a boyfriend and then I get ignored," he murmured in disbelief and watched as you switched between munching on the taiyaki and sipping from the chocolate milk, "love you too I guess," he murmured and ruffled your hair quietly. At least you were enjoying yourself and were much more relaxed now that you laid in his embrace with snacks and a good show playing in front of you.
