He blushed. There she goes again. Winking teasingly at him from afar in their English class. Jake turned his head away from the teal-haired girl frantically, fixing his gaze back onto his schoolwork as he wrote with his pen in a haste. His heart felt like exploding out of his chest as he bit the inside of his mouth, flustered.

Thankfully, she was sitting behind him, so he wasn't able to see her charming face, but for some reason, Jake couldn't stop looking back at her, only to be met with either a wink, or a kiss that was blown at him.

Drew, who was next to Jake in their class, whispered to him. "Is Hailey still flirting with you?" Jake started to blush even more as he nodded his head, his eyes shut in embarrassment.

"Y-Yes..We're not even together or anything, but she always does this.." He replied shyly, stroking his collarbone.

"She definitely likes you, bro.." Liam joined into the conversation. The thought of Hailey liking Jake was enough to make Jake grow all the more shy.

"H-Hailey? Like me?! No..She wouldn't like someone like me.." Jake muttered quietly, seeing Drew and Liam chuckle in response.

"If she doesn't like you, then why does she constantly flirt with you on the daily?" Drew questioned with a smirk.

"She's just joking.." Liam scoffed at Jake's reply, rolling his eyes.

"I doubt she's joking, Jakey boy.." Liam said in response, patting Jake's shoulder.

"Hey, puddin'~" Jake gulped in nervousness as his whole face became a bright colour of red upon hearing the nickname Hailey used for him. Slowly, he turned his head around and saw the playful and seductive grin on Hailey's face.

"Talking about me, are you? You just can't get me off your mind, can ya?" Hailey teased him, twirling a lock of her hair with a finger.

"Uh-Uh, I-I.." Jake avoided her eyes, embarrassed at his own stuttering. He could hear Hailey giggle, covering her mouth as she did so.

Hailey placed a palm onto her cheek, gazing at him in adoration. "I understand..You're obsessed with me, puddin'. Don't worry, cutie..I'll see you after class.." With that, Jake decided to turn back towards the front of the class, ignoring the girl. Hailey sighed with a smile before she continued on with her work.

Jake then noticed Drew and Liam stare at him in disbelief. "What..?" He questioned the two's weird facial expressions.

"Yo, she calls you puddin' as well?! Oh my god, she likes you!" Liam exclaimed quietly, making Jake's cheeks flush red again.

"Would you shut up! Don't make it such a big deal!" Jake slapped Liam's arm in frustration, causing him to retract it back towards his chest.

Drew crossed his arms with a grin, leaning back into his seat after. "Well, you know what people in this school say. Hailey is the motherfucking princess.." Jake sighed under his breath, continuing on with his work, wanting to pay all his attention to it. He wanted to brush everything off and get this class over with.

Jake was roaming around the school corridors, trying to find his locker in order to store some of his books away. He hadn't seen Hailey at all since his last class. Jake thought he would be glad about this, but for an unknown reason, he couldn't help but feel a bit disappointed. Was Hailey only lying about seeing him after class? Was she only messing with his feelings, and only flirting with him as a joke? Jake figured that he'd never know. There's no predicting Hailey Austin.

After a small while, Jake had finally managed to find his locker. He smiled a little and walked on over to it, opening the door before storing his textbooks carefully away. Jake always liked to keep his locker organized and clean, unlike some lazy people in the school who could care less about their materials.

When he was finished, Jake closed his locker shut with a sigh. He was happy that the school day was nearly over and he could soon head on home and relax. Maybe he'd listen to some music, play video games, take Oreo out for a walk? There was plenty for him to do at home that would keep him occupied for the night.

"Hiya, puddin'.." Jake abruptly froze on the spot when he heard that nickname again. He rotated his head around to his side, and all he saw was none other than Hailey Austin herself, who was staring at him smugly.

Jake then watched Hailey walk herself closer to him, her sweet breath lingering near his lips. "I told you I'd see you after class, didn't I?" She murmured lowly, her hand pressing firmly against the locker on Jake's right side, kabedoning him.

Jake had no idea what to do. He could feel the butterflies soar in his abdomen. "Oh, H-Hailey..It's n-nice to see you.." Jake said shyly, which made Hailey giggle softly.

"Oh, I'm sure it's incredibly nice for you to see me.."

Hailey stroked underneath his chin with her index finger, which sent shivers down Jake's spine. It tickled him gently and Jake struggled to contain his laughter. Hailey instantly took notice of this and chuckled.

"Can I just say how adorable you are, Jakey~?" Jake blushed an intense shade of scarlet.

"You..think I'm a-adorable..?" Hailey nodded her head in reply.

"Absolutely...adorable.." Her face inched closer to his, their noses slightly touching eachother.

Unbeknownst to them, Henry and Liam were secretly watching the entire scenario from a distance. "Oh look, Hailey is kabedoning Jake again..It's hilarious how shy Jake is!" Liam informed his green friend, laughing shortly afterwards.

"Aw man, Jake is so lucky. I wish a girl would pin me against the wall like that.." Henry spoke out, pouting. Liam gave him a dead panned stare, questioning Henry's strange, but funny, nature.

"So, Jake? Are you doing anything after school?" Hailey asked him intriguingly, running her fingers through his smooth hair.

"Um, I don't have any plans.." Jake responded, his whole body feeling insanely hot. Hailey beamed at this and cupped his cheek.

"Good. 'Cause I want you to meet up with me tonight.." Jake's eyes widened in surprise.

"You want to meet up with me?" Hailey rolled her eyes in amusement and snickered.

"Oh my God, you're so cute. That's what I just said, puddin'. Meet me tonight at Rosemeadow Street at 7pm. Is that alright, cutie?"

Hailey whispered seductively in his ear, which made Jake's skin crawl with goosebumps. He rapidly nodded his head in agreement, shutting his eyes in shyness. Suddenly, he felt a pair of soft lips brush against his cheek. Hailey kissed him, leaving a red kiss mark displayed on his face as a result.

"See you then, Jake.." Hailey waved at him, blowing him another kiss as she trailed off on her own way. Jake cupped the cheek Hailey kissed, completely awestruck. He felt like passing out. What if what his friends said were true? Does Hailey actually like him?

"I mean, that's not the worst thing..Damn, she really is something else..A princess..My princess.."

Jake grinned to himself hearing his thoughts. Something told him that this evening was going to be the best evening of his life. He just couldn't wait for it, his entire self filled to the brim with excitement.

"Henry! Did you see that! Our boy just got kissed by a girl!" Liam shouted out, as Henry's jaw almost dropped to the floor.

"Okay, if he continues to deny Hailey liking him, I'm done.." Henry responded, still trying to process everything that had happened.

"Let's go tell Drew about this!"
