chapter fifty

The atmosphere became tense within seconds as no one spoke for a couple of minutes. It was dead silence in the dark alleyway, and Jiwoon was about to leave until he was stopped by a voice.

"Wait, Jiwoon." Seungmin called out, making the other to turn around and look back at him.

"The cops are arriving any second now. Do you know when Hyunjin's father will be coming?" Seungmin asks, and Jiwoon just shrugged.

Sighs were heard from everyone.

Just then, red and blue flashing lights started to come closer and the siren got louder.

"Watch out for Hyunjin's father." Was the last words that came from Jiwoon before he exited the alleyway, turning himself in to the cops.

"Do you think he's being for real or it's just part of his stupid plan?" Changbin asks.

"Would he really turn himself in though if this was apart of his plan?"

Minho let out a sigh as he turned around and immediately jumped when he saw someone behind the others.

"Watch out!" Minho shouted and pushed everyone away.

They all fell to the ground and right when their vision became clear again, Minho was on the ground, stabbed with a bloody knife.

"Minho!"

"What the fuck!?"

Mr. Hwang stood there with a stern look plastered on his face. He looked down at the boy he just stabbed and shrugged.

"Oops. I was actually aiming for Seungmin but this boy helps too I guess." Mr. Hwang said as he played with the bloody knife in his hand.

Chan pounced at the older man and snatched the knife away, throwing it far away on the ground so no one could reach it.

"A high schooler beats an old man, what a shocker. You'll make it on the news young one." Mr. Hwang laughed while Chan death glared him.

Meanwhile, Jisung took off his jacket and covered Minho's wound so he wouldn't lose too much blood and Felix called an ambulance and the cops, again.

"Dad?" Another voice suddenly called out in the dark alleyway, making everyone turn their attention towards the voice.

Hyunjin walked towards the scene with trembling legs, "You stabbed my friend...?"

"Oh sweetie, I didn't mean to. He just jumped in front of me and wanted to be stabbed I guess."

"You..."

"Hyunjin? Why are you here?"

"I tracked you guys down...on my phone, with the app.."

Felix then remembered the time he told Hyunjin to get a tracking app just in case. Gosh, how relieved he felt when Hyunjin actually used it.

Before anyone else could speak, the ambulance soon showed up.

They escorted Minho into the vehicle and the police soon took Mr. Hwang.

"I don't understand, this all escalated so fast. It feels like we're living in a story right now."

Months have passed and all the boys have been doing was focusing on school and visiting Minho. The boy was in the hospital, doing better than ever. However, he still needed care for his wound.

Jeongin was soon ready to leave the hospital as well. Once he heard the news about Minho, he couldn't help but break down.

Hyunjin was still traumatized about what happened to him, but thankfully the group made him feel safe.

Jiwoon and Hyunjin's father, Mr. Hwang, are now spending a deserved amount of time in prison due to their choices.

Life was good.

Hyunjin soon questioned his sexuality, and labeled himself as bisexual. He still had an attraction towards girls, but also towards boys as well. Though, the group was his only exception.

FEW MORE MONTHS LATER

"Hyunjin close your eyes!" Jisung told as soon as he saw the other peaking one of his eyes open.

"Don't tell me he opened his eyes!?" Chan said and went towards Hyunjin who denied everything.

"I didn't see anything! I promise!"

"You better not have! Otherwise this surprise is ruined!"

A few minutes later, Chan guided Hyunjin more closer towards the surprise everyone planned for him.

"Open your eyes in 3...2...1!"

Chan moved his hands and Hyunjin finally saw what the rest has been planning.

"Minho?!"

The boy ran to the older and hugged him tightly.

"How long were you out for?!"

"Just today!"

Hyunjin let go of the hug and frowned at the others, "You guys didn't tell me! Meanies!"

"It'd ruin the surprise!"

The boy frowned and the others couldn't help but giggle.

"Guys! Group hug!" Felix shouted and they all pounced on Hyunjin, including Minho who seemed to be fully recovered.

"Let's not get into another life-death situation, okay? I was tired trying to process everything."

"As long as they both stay in jail, we'll be fine."

Hyunjin smiled and suddenly shrieked when he felt someone tickling him, "Wait don't tickle me!"

"We proved you wrong, right?" Chan asks through the laughter of everyone.

"Yes! You did, you did! Stop tickling me Chan!"

Laughter flooded in the room and the boys were finally at rest, with nothing to worry about.
