Upon seeing this supernatural scene, John asked in question, "What in the world was that?"

"Oh, that's the Love Bond," explained Ron back, "it's a very rare supernatural phenomenon where two people who love each so much their bond cannot be separated literally and physically. It happens every twilight came and one of them will go back to his/her current location if they happened to be far away from each other."

"Wow, sounds like a way to beat the downsides of long-distance relationships," John commented.

  "Yeah, it is."

Back at the scene, Kevin and Riley discharged from hugging and Riley asked Kevin how was his coma.

"Well, I thought I would not survive," Kevin answered her back while scratching his head for a few seconds as Riley let a positive smile.

"I had been worrying about you ever since you got shot," Riley responded back.

"How did you know that?" Kevin asked back.

  "Your siblings told me that."

  "Oh, that's why."

"Yes, and I hoped we could see each other in the Philippines."

"Okay, if me and my siblings manage to flee the East Coast."

"I'll be waiting for you then."

  "Thanks."
Then, they noticed that the twilight was coming to a close, so Riley quickly dig in in her pockets and retrieved a colorful shoelace. She then passed it to Kevin, who then caught the other end of it and held it tight. Then, just as Ron predicted, Riley disappeared into thin air, leaving the shoelace to Kevin. The passing of that very shoelace was a symbol of love and dedication to one another. After Riley had disappeared, Kevin said, "I'll see you again, wherever you are." He then wrapped the shoelace around his left wrist and placed the remaining length inside it to prevent it from slipping.

Seeing this scene, John was astonished, commenting, "Wow, I can't say anything by now."

"Yes, that happens when the twilight is over," Ron responded back.

After that, Kevin looked at them and said, "Guys, I had accepted what had happened to me." Meanwhile, Isaiah, Luke, and the other survivors are at the shooting range practicing their shots.

Later at night, while Juan, Maria, and Ron are reading a book, Kevin is laying on his bed looking at the ceiling. The lights were turned on so Kevin's siblings could see and read the book.

"Man, I want to explore around this place," Kevin thought to himself, "so I could use it to my advantage psychologically."
He then let out a slight smile and continued thinking, "Yeah, I'm so excited to be in Matsu once again, as one of my personalities. And also, I want to act as two or more than one personality on the same day, and to do an investigation regarding the origin of the zombie virus and how those zombies stopped attacking people."

The next morning, Luke came to the group's room to check Kevin's current state. Kevin was having oatmeal and milk for breakfast when Luke and Isaiah came.

"Greetings, Kevin," Luke gave him a greeting to him.

"Hola, amigo," Isaiah added as well.

Upon hearing that, Kevin looked at them and asked, "Who are you?"

"I'm Luke Redwood, the one who did a liver transplant on you," Luke responded back.

"I'm Isaiah Salvacion," Isaiah added with positivity. "Nice to meet you, Kevin."

"How did you know my name?"

"Your siblings and friends told me about you."

Then, Kevin asked his siblings, "You guys did that?"

Juan then stand up and answered back, "Yes, big brother, he's one of our friends."

"I see then. Wait a minute, I remembered John-san and Tim-san getting trapped in somewhere in this place. How did they get out?"

"Well, according to them," Ron answered him back, "they had managed to escape the horde of zombified soldiers somehow, and they had been searching for you and us all along."

"Okay then, where are they now?"

"Oh, they are with the zombified soldiers patrolling the surrounding areas."

  "I see..."

With that, Luke checked the blood bag and tapped on it a few times. But it was almost empty, and Luke said to Kevin, "You seemed to have recovered fast. Do you feel any pain now?"

"Oh, um," Kevin replied back. "I felt some little pain right here." He then pointed towards the spot where his liver was located inside.

""Ah, I see. That means your liver is currently "connecting" to the rest of your body, so you might feel some pain."

  "Oh, thanks, Luke-san."

"Yes, and I think later this morning you can go out."

  "Thanks, that'll be great."

Later, at 10:55 a.m., with the blood bag now empty, Luke managed to discharge Kevin's body from the IV pole, allowing him to move freely.
