Neteyam's Pov:

Me and Kiri, rotxo, and aonung we're out gathering the nets for the fish when kiri smacked my shoulder. "What?" I hissed, pulling at the rope. Kiri pointed in aonung and rotxo's direction.

"Look at aonung" kiri whispered, I rolled my eyes. "I am!" Kiri frowned and I instantly apologized knowing I was being a jerk.

"He looks thinner now" Kiri whispered to me, and I Soon realized he was right, his ribs were showing on his sides, and he didn't have a lot of muscle on his arms and legs like he used to. I looked at him concerned. Has he not been eating.

Kiri voiced my exact worries as we watched aonung and rotxo pull at the fish filled net. "I haven't seen him at the dinners at all" she said worriedly, I nodded in agreement. "We should talk to tsireya about it" I told kiri who nodded.

We went back to pulling on the net but I couldn't help my glance back over at aonung every so often to make sure he was doing okay.

Neteyam's Pov:

"Tsireya!" I called, it was evening when I  found her walking with lo'ak. She instantly stopped turning to face me. "What is it neteyam?" Tsireya asked.

"I have a question for you" I told her, beckoning her away from lo'ak, he seemed to understand and waited patiently a few steps away.

I lowered my voice before I spoke. "Has aonung been eating?" I asked tsireya, her face instantly changed. "What?" She said confused and I looked at her worriedly. "I don't think your brother has been eating" I told her, I could see a frown grow across her face. "Why would he do that?" She asked, she sounded really worried.

"I think you should talk to him" I told tsireya who instantly shook her head. "He doesn't listen to me, no matter how much I want him to" she said crossing her arms.

Her face instantly brighten and she pointed at me. "But he does listen to you!" She exclaimed and I let out an awkward laugh. "He does!" Tsireya defended. "I've seen him do it with my own eyes!"

I couldn't help but shake my head and laugh. "Fine, I'll see if I can talk to him" I said, tsireya smiled up at me before calling lo'ak back over to us. "Thank you neteyam!" Tsireya smiled, interlocking hands with lo'ak.

Neteyam's Pov:

I walked to aonung's den with two bowls of food. Just in case he wants to eat. I thought.

When I entered the den he was laying on his bed, his back facing me but I could tell he wasn't asleep with the way his tail swished back and forth and the way his ears twitched. "Aonung can we talk?" I asked, setting down the bowls and walking over to him.

"What?" He mumbled, his voice husked with sleep. Maybe he was just resting before I came.

I sat at the edge of his bed and I could see his head peek up, he had beautiful light blue eyes.

"You haven't been eating lately, right?" I asked him and I could hear him groan. I was right. "You need to eat something" I told him, getting up to grab the food. "You could get sick if you don't" I explained to him but he didn't answer. I grabbed the bowls and returned back to the side of aonung's den.

"I'm not hungry" aonung grumbled, seeing the bowl. I raised an eyebrow looking at him. "Your a liar" I told him, making him frown. "Eat"

I held out the bowl for him and with few protest he sat up and took the bowl, looking at the wild rice soup that sat in it. I smiled, eating my own soup. "Thank you neteyam" I heard him mumbled and I couldn't help but smile again. "Eat, it's good"

After a while me and aonung and some how managed to shift closer together, he now sat exactly right next to me, our bodies we're touching.

"I'm sorry about lo'ak" aonung said, setting his bowl down. I know. "Lo'ak will live" I told aonung, before grabbing him by his bond.

I knew that was his weak point.

And I knew even more when he whined. "But if you ever pull something like that I will kill you" I warned him before letting go of his bond and smiling at him.

He looked completely terrified.
