Lisa shook her head, "No, my mom is suffering from poor health, so she won't be able to take the hit. I don't think she knows, she's been thinking that I'm her biological daughter this whole time. I'm afraid she won't be able to handle the truth. I'm not planning to tell Haruto either. I'm afraid it will ruin our relationship, and we would never be able to go back. Besides, I haven't found my biological parents yet. I'd rather tell them when the time comes."

"Sounds like a plan."

"Kook, I still want to visit Andong when I have time just to see if I can find any more clues, and take a look at the small town that I was born in. I still want to go check it out myself."

"Sure, I will go with you in a couple of days. If you want, we can even stay there for a few days."

Lisa nodded...

At around noon, Lisa stayed at JC and ate lunch with Jungkook. In the afternoon, Jungkook left the company for an off-site visit.

Lisa took a cab home. Since she didn't have work, she was thinking about cleaning their condo.

But to her surprise, she received a call from Sooyoung...

"Lisa, let's meet. I need to talk to you about something," Sooyoung said sweetly.

Lisa thought about it for a moment and decided to meet her. After all, if she didn't, then they might come looking for her at South Side.

It would be even more terrible if they were to disrupt her at work...

Lisa walked into a luxurious coffee shop located downtown. She saw Nancy and her mother, Sooyoung the moment she walked in.

Sooyoung was in a pale white dress, and with her well-kept skin, she looked rather young for her age.

Nancy, on the other hand, wore a flaming red puffy dress with her hair in big curls – looking glamorous and flirtatious.

"What did you want to talk to me about?" Lisa walked over and asked directly.

"Lisa, come and sit. Waiter, get her a glass of orange juice, please." Sooyoung ordered for Lisa.

"No thank you, water is fine."

"Okay, waiter, get her a glass of water." Sooyoung smiled as she observed Lisa.

"You've grown to be so beautiful..." For the first time, she complimented Lisa.

The weasel goes to pay his respect to the hen – not with the best intentions. Lisa thought to herself.

"I don't like to go around in circles. Just tell me what you want."

"Consider yourself lucky that my mother wants to speak to you, just shut up and listen." Nancy glared at Lisa grumpily.

Nancy was never in agreement when her mother proposed that they should speak to Lisa. But given the tight circumstances, Sooyoung had no other choice but to hope that she could find a breakthrough with her.

"Lisa, I might've done wrong in the past, I hope you don't mind. Nancy is younger than you and is technically your little sister, so you don't have to stoop down to her level. She's got a very straightforward personality, so please excuse her."

"Being direct and speaking ill are two different things. I don't think I need to pardon her. After all... there's not many fellowships to speak of."

" I don't need you to pardon me, who the hell do you think you are...?" Nancy said angrily.

Sooyoung immediately pressed her down before she could go off...

"Nancy, sit. What did I tell you when we got here? I told you to get along with your big sister, right?" Sooyoung pretended to snap at Nancy.
