"I... can't... tell... tell you," the man managed to say with great difficulty.
"Do you plan on taking your secret to hell?" Jungkook looked at him coldly.
"I can't..." Then, that man's neck tilted, and he died...
Jungkook seemed to have expected this to happen...
Whoever shot him was a professional assassin who managed to make a fatal wound with one shot...
The only reason he was able to stay alive until Jungkook came was because Namjoon gave him a huge shot of cardiac stimulant right in his heart.
"So, he didn't say anything, did he?" Namjoon asked.
"He won't say. Someone probably blackmailed him or threatened him with his family." Jungkook analyzed.
Namjoon nodded his head. "Have you offended someone recently? Do you think Jimin did this?"
"No, Jimin would never do anything this low. Whoever did this is despicable and vicious, murdering whoever poses as a threat to him, at every turn. It doesn't sound like Jimin's style..."
"If the enemy is in the dark and you are out in the open, it's going to be problematic," Namjoon said with a heavy tone.
"It's fine, I think he just wants to stir up trouble in my life but hasn't actually threatened my safety... I am worried, though, about my wife. If I'm out of town, please keep an eye on her and don't let anyone near her."
"I got it." Namjoon nodded.
If someone wanted to teach Jungkook a lesson, the best way to do so would be to kidnap Lisa...
What Lisa didn't know was that every day, from when she left for work until she got home, there had always been people watching her... and protecting her.
Because Jungkook didn't want anything to happen to her...
Lisa was already deep asleep when Jungkook got home...
He showered in another bathroom because he didn't want to wake Lisa up.
Then, he tiptoed onto the bed and gently embraced her...
Right now, Lisa was in dreamland...
She dreamt that she was standing in a giant forest...
A man stood across from her, but she couldn't see his face.
"Who are you?" Lisa asked.
"Lisa... I'm your father."
"Father...?" Lisa repeated; that voice did not belong to Mr. Oh.
"Who are you?" Lisa wanted to walk up to him so she could see him better.
However, no matter how hard she tried, she couldn't move...
"Lisa... I'm your father."
Then, the man slowly disappeared into the distance...
"Dad... don't go." Lisa suddenly woke up with a start.
Jungkook immediately hugged her. "Did you have a bad dream?"
Lisa breathed heavily...
"I dreamed of a man who said that he was my father."
"Don't worry, I've been investigating this whole time, I will definitely help you find your parents."
Jungkook knew that ever since Lisa found out that she wasn't Mr. Oh's daughter, she had been wanting to look for her real family.
