On Allison's birthday, I reluctantly woke up at 5 so I could make her breakfast in bed. I brought up a tray that had pancakes, coffee, and a bowl of fruit. It also had her birthday present on it.
I walked in her room, put the tray on her dresser, then jumped on her bed. "Happy Birthday!"
She looked at me with bags under her eyes. "Wow, this is a nice surprise."
I got of her bed and brought her, her breakfast.
"Oh, my. What time did you wake up to do all this?"
"Uhhhh." I didn't want her to know cause she would feel bad know I woke up at 5 even though I am not a morning person. "Open the gift."
She almost did, but snapped back to her questions. "Bailey!"
"Fine." I felt defeated. "Five."
"You didn't have to do that." She said.
"I know. But I wanted to. You're my best friend and you deserve an amazing breakfast on your day."
"Oh." She rapped her arms around my neck. "I love it."
We released from the hug.
"Don't get used to it. I will only do it for your birthday."
"That's perfect." She smiled.
"Now open the present." I smiled back at her.
She grabbed the rapped box that was on the tray.
It was a ring that had a sun symbol on it.
"It's beautiful, but what does it mean?" She lifted the ring out of it's box.
I lifted up my hand with the ring that had a moon symbol and showed her it. "Lydia has one too. Her's has a star."
"So that mean all together it means star, moon, and sun."
