Chapter 69

When I got to Mystic Falls I went back into the Grill. I had a miserable car ride there. The baby was cry the entire time.

I had heard somewhere that in small towns, everyone knows everyone. I had always been curious if that was true. So I walked up to a police officer at the bar.

"Excuse me?" I asked her. She turned around and looked at me. "Do you Elena Gilbert?"

"Of course. Are you looking for her?" The women asked. Which made me skeptical. If she knew Elena she would be curious to why I look exactly like her.

"Yeah." I moved the baby's seat so I was holding it.

"I'll show you where she is." The women smiled at me and started to walk outside and I followed.

She started walking down an alley. That's when I got especially skeptical. But before I could act she had pointed her gun at me. "Hello, Katherine. I've had alot to say to you since you turned my daughter into a vampire."

I put the baby on the ground and held up my hands. "I'm not Katherine." I said.

"Yeah, right. Like I'd fall for that." The women didn't believe me at all. Which was understandable. From what I heard about Katherine she's a pathetical lier.

"I can understand why you don't believe me. But can I grab my ID. It will tell you my name is Bailey Argent." I reached into my pocket and pulled out my ID card and handed it to the women.

"Okay, if you really are this Bailey Argent, where is the home address on this ID."

"Beacon Hille, California. I understand why you think I'm Katherine. But I'm not. I'm Bailey Argent. My full name is Bailey Freya Mikaelson Argent." I said.

"Wait, Mikaelson? You're a Mikaelson." She looked at me wide eyed.

"Yeah." I sighed. "I'm Klaus Mikaelson's twin, Pabbailey I shorten it as Bailey because, well Pabbailey sounds weird. And honestly it never sounded good."

The women laughed and lowered her gun. "Okay, I just have a few more questions, if that's okay?"

"Of course." I let out a deep sigh.

"Why are you looking for Elena Gilbert?"

"Okay, honestly since you seem to know the supernatural world, I'm gonna tell you the truth." I said. "My town, Beacon Hills, it's under attack by this giant monstrous wolf, called The Beast of Gevudon, which was killed by a huntress back in the 1700s. It's somehow still alive and according to an ancient legend, the most powerful doppelgangers linking with the newest one, and the most powerful one killing it, will kill it for good. Meaning I need to link me to Elena."

"Okay, but what makes you the most powerful?" Sheriff Forbes asked.

"I'm a werewolf, vampire, and the sapphire witch. Making me the sapphire tribrid." I said.

"How are you a vampire and witch. A vampire told me that's not possible."

"It's not. That's why I thought my witch side was long gone before I had ever used it. And because I never used it, I didn't know I was a special witch. A siphon. Which had no power of their own. So they siphon it from other supernaturals. And I didn't have the magic when I turned. But as a vampire I have a constant source."

"Okay, I think I understand why you need to see Elena. Now for my second question. Who's kid is that." I she pointed down at my baby who wasn't crying for once.

I put the babies seat down and picked her up. "Mine. She's my daughter."

"Now, I'm even more confused. Vampire's can have kids."

"No, but hybrids can. Technically me and my brother were born as werewolves and made by magic vampires, we can have kids. I don't totally understand it. But it gave me her, so I'm grateful." I said.

"You talk like a mom. That's how I know your not lying." She smiled and grabbed the babies hand. "What's her name?"

"She doesn't have one yet. I haven't talked to her father about it yet. But I have one in mind." I smirked looking down at my baby girl.

Sheriff Forbes took me to the Salvatore Boarding House. I had no idea why we were there, until I saw her. A girl who looked exactly like me.

"Elena, let me explain." Forbes tried to say but Elena completely ignored her.

"Katherine, what hell are you doing here? And where did you get that baby?" She asked with her finger in my face.

"Elena! That's not Katherine." Forbes yelled.

"What?" Elena looked at the sheriff than back at me. "Who?"

"I'm Bailey. I'm one of the many doppelgangers."

"So you were after Katherine?" Elena asked.

"Before." I stated. "I was around in the Viking period."

"She's one of the Mikaelson siblings." Forbes said.

"Oh, really." She looked both surprised and mad.

"I'm Klaus's twin." I said scared. I hated this.

"Oh, is that right." Now I knew she was made. "And what do you want?"

"Okay, I understand that you don't like my brother. I understand that, completely. But I am not him. I am actually here for someone other me. Or more like a whole town of people."

"Huh." Elena nodded her head. "Go on."

"You see this girl." I looked down at my daughter. "She's my daughter. I love her very much. And even though I can't stand her dad right know, I know one day she will need him."

Elena spun her finger around, like speed it up.

"Anyways, he's in the town that I need help saving."

"From what." This time she sounded actually sympathetic.

"It's called the beast of Gevudon. He's a giant wolf. He's also immortal somehow. My family ancestor killed him a while back. Now he's still alive."

"Okay, how do I come into this?" She asked.

"To stop him the most powerful doppelganger and the newest doppelganger have to be linked."

"Linked? Like how?"

"It's a magical spell." A girl with dark skin and black hair came into the room. "It connects 2 people together."

"Bonnie, how long have you been listening?" Elena asked irritated with the girl.

"Sorry, how long have you been here?" Bonnie asked me. "Oh, and I'm Bonnie a witch."

"Bonnie!" Elena yelled.

"Elena, the ancestors see a grave future. That will destroy us all if you don't help Bailey." Bonnie said. "The beast won't stop in Beacon Hills. It will come after all of us."

Elena looked at the ground, then back up. "Fine, Ill help you."

Bonnie agreed to do the spell. The sheriff, Liz took the baby for me.

Me and Elena took a small cut on our palms, then held hands as Bonnie chanted the spell, slowly I felt more connected to Elena. Then her death flashed over me, she drown.

When I looked over at her, she was looking at me. I knew she had seen my death.

Then the spell was over. Me and Elena were linked.
