After Clark saved Metropolis from the parasites of task force x he with Lois and Jimmy have Thanksgiving at the Kent and well when the general who happens to be Lois's dad things got crazy with a alienership and Kryptonite within it it's been one big drama for the moment and that's nothing compared to who seems to be a fully techno General Zrm with who seems to be Brainiac as his second in command and this maybe speculation for now but I think Clark doesn't know that Krypton was destroyed.
Side note: when Vicky Vail first appeared and made me think we could see in theory Gotham in the next season but with you know who would steal the show with it being more than a two-parter if you know what I mean.
