No matter how much Jade tossed and turned in Zeth's comfortable bed, she simply couldn't sleep. Half an hour, one hour, one hour and twenty... It was useless!

How did she go from almost falling asleep while standing to staying up all night?

She had no idea, but if something always made her sleep, it was a glass of milk, so she left the room and walked down the hallway until...

"Draco, what are you doing here?" Jade asked, seeing him alone in the middle of the Solar, specifically in the dining room, with a lit candle, writing in the dark. He was sitting with his legs swinging a little, humming and moving his head to the beat of a melody in his brain.

"Oh! Hi Jade!” he waved effusively, “I am just writing a song. It's a form of therapy. I do this at night when everyone is out."

"Wait, where is everyone?" Jade cocked her head.

"Everett and Kevin are with Jay downstairs. They started talking about sports, although Kevin was already yawning but you know him, Mr. Sociable."

"Who's Jay?" she asked, sitting down in a chair next to Draco.

"Freddie's boyfriend."

"Freddie? The girl who always wears the striped sweater? The one who goes to Laska’s salon to get nails that look like razors?"

"Exactly," Draco nodded without taking his eyes off the sheet of paper he was writing on. "Jay's a hockey fan. He always wears a hockey mask in fact. And Everett's a fan too. You know what the big guy is like. Kevin is just being a social butterfly. You know he likes to learn things. In fact, Jay invited them to play hockey next weekend," Draco grunted, grabbed the paper he was writing on, balled it up, and threw it over his shoulder.

It fell into the trash can.

"Nice one," Jade whispered. "And the others?"

"Alex is with Charlie."

"Who's Charlie?" Jade cocked her head. "Oh! Wait! Charlie Ray! The short girl who has plastic skin, right? The one who always wears overalls!"

"Exactly," Draco said, taking a new sheet of paper from a stack. "She has the entire collection of the band's action figures, but Alex is the only one who hasn't autographed the boxes. You know about that. You're a collector too."

"Zeth told me that he had some exclusive dolls that he was going to give me."

"They're action figures," Draco replied with a frown, and Jade laughed a little.

"Sure, sure. Hey, where are Zeth and Finn?"

"You don't want to know," Draco laughed a little, pointing back. "I heard moans a while ago. That's all I know."

"Finally!” Jade giggled, “Hey, what about Frank?"

"Frank is with Evie, they will talk about... Stuff."

"I see," Jade didn't know why, but she felt jealous. Evie and Frank already had a past, and she suspected that it wasn't all water under the bridge. They seemed so happy when they were around each other, and now there was nothing more than a close friendship between them.

But still, she got jealous.

"Anyway," Draco changed the subject, "What's keeping you awake? Monster insomnia?"

"I can't sleep, I have no idea why," Jade shook her head, "I think maybe I'm too stressed out."

"Well then, try to relax," Draco suggested, "It might help."

"Yeah, probably… I had not thought of it," Jade mocked, and Draco looked up at her through half-closed lids. She could tell he was not okay. "You're sad, right? Your body language, your eyes, your posture... It tells me a lot."
