I was googling to see if there's a cannon state Greg was from and saw a fic as the top result. I clicked on it to see what someone thought; it was my own fic.
The states either do a white elephant or secret Santa, as well as getting those they want to gifts too.
Alaska is in his house for the holidays with his dogs, not socializing.
California goes to Lake Tahoe for the winter. He would spend it with friends but doesn't have any close ones.
Kansas spends it making sure Florida and Louisiana don't cause any trouble.
Utah spends it with his family. Saying prayers, and going caroling.
Gov spends Christmas in the office, until CDC drags him out to celebrate.
Greg goes home. It's one of the few days he gets off that he can leave the statehouse.
