As the sun was going down, Naruto was at a quiet training area outside his village.
The setting sun made the trees look like they were on fire.
There was a nice breeze, and Naruto could smell the earth, cherry blossoms, and a hint of blood.
The place, usually calm, was filled with the noise of Naruto hitting a wooden post over and over.
Naruto was hitting the post really hard.
He wasn't worried about the cuts on his hands because he could heal quickly.
But he was really upset.
He felt let down and angry because Hiruzen, the Hokage and his grandfather, hadn't been completely honest with him.
Naruto had thought of Hiruzen as a better person than he turned out to be.
With each hit on the post, Naruto let out his anger.
He moved smoothly and quickly, punching, stepping aside, hitting with his elbow, and then stepping back.
This helped him calm down a bit and kept his anger from getting the best of him.
As he continued, Naruto's anger began to fade.
His hands were bleeding, and he lay on the ground, looking up at the sky. He started to think, "What now? Can I forgive Hiruzen? How do I deal with all this anger?" He looked at the system window, still wondering what to do.
