Rosalie and Sebastian walked side-by-side as they made their way to the Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom for their Mentorship. Sebastian had been bugging her every chance he could about the letter of recommendation and what her plans were. She kept brushing him off, saying that she was still indecisive of her choices.

"But Rosie," he whined.

"Enough, Sebastian. I mean it."

"But-"

"But nothing!" she replied sternly as she stopped outside the classroom. "There is nothing further to discuss about it."

"That's not what you said just mere three weeks ago. I know something happened," he said concernedly.

"Nothing happened. End of discussion. We have a class to teach," Rose replied as she turned on her heel and left Sebastian standing in the corridor.

Rosalie had made it through the week redirecting her and Sebastian's conversations about her future. Merlin, he was persistent. She hated to lie to him, but she also couldn't tell him the truth. She knew how he would react once he heard it.

He had his suspicions, no doubt. Maybe a part of him already knew the story, but maybe he wanted Rosalie to say it out loud so she could think clearly.

Whatever it may be, it was off limits today. It was finally Saturday. May was nearing, which meant so were final examinations. T-minus two months and the workload proved it.

Today was about relief and relaxation. Somehow, Rosalie had convinced Heather to go to Hogsmeade with her and Lacy rather than watching the Slytherin and Ravenclaw Quidditch match. Heather agreed, but only because 'Ravenclaw is the worst Quidditch team by far.'

Rose rolled her eyes as she pulled herself out of bed. Today was supposed to be fun and enjoyable. She needed to snap out of the grumpy mood she was in, but the stress and pressure of life was crushing her. Between preparing for final examinations, teaching her students, and mentally battling for her future, it seemed Rosalie had no time to just enjoy life recently. These next two months was all she had left.

Two months.

And that time will go by in the blink of an eye.

She walked over to her wardrobe and picked out today's outfit. The late April air was finally beginning to warm up as it greeted May. The Highlands are always exceptionally wet during this time of year, but thankfully, today was dry for their trip. Rosalie scanned through her casual dresses and pulled out a cream-colored sundress with short, puffed sleeves and paired it with a yellow rose embellished corset. She picked up her brown loafers to take with her to the bathroom to change into.

After freshening up, Rosalie made her way to the Great Hall to meet Lacy and Heather. They were sitting at the Slytherin table along with the others.

"Baney, please. Just tell me what you know. She refuses to speak to me about it," Sebastian pleaded.

"Like I said, Sallow. I have no idea what you're talking about!"

"Neither do I," Lacy interrupted. "We had no idea Rosalie wanted to become a professor until you mentioned it."

"Well, she doesn't now. That's the problem. I know something happened between her and Amos a few weeks ago at dinner and-"

"Sebastian, shush. She's coming, and I don't believe Rosalie would want to hear you pressuring her friends about her decisions," Ominis commented coolly.

"How do you even know-"

Ominis held up his wand from under the table; the tip of it was pulsing red. Sebastian nodded to indicate he understood and his eyes peered up from the intense conversation; his expression softened at the sight of Rose. A warm grin appeared on his lips as she walked closer.
