"I heard you tried to find me in someone else." He said, his voice sending a shiver down your spine

Your hands run up your arms in defense. "Go away."

He said nothing, standing there like a tower in the darkness, the city lights making him look an angel.

"Luke, I said go away." You say with more force, turning your back towards him, eyes closed tight in fear.

"How can I?"

"Go back to where we left you," you say, mustering up as much confidence as you could, "you're dead, gone, so go the fuck away."

And just like that, his voice no longer ringing through your ears like silk, your resolve breaking as tears fell to the dusty sheets.
