The boys were booked for countless interviews, most questions being about you and Michael's relationship.

''How did you and (Y/N) meet?''

"When did you two meet?"

"What's your favorite thing about (Y/N)?"

One question, however, that was unique, was 'Why (Y/N)?'

When the interviewer asked Michael that question, he was surprised. Mikey had about a hundred reasons as to why he was hopelessly in-love with his girlfriend.

"Because she's herself." Michael answered simply, making Luke, Calum, and Ashton groan. "Cheesy!"

The interviewer and some of the backstage crew laughed, but Michael retained his serious expression.

It was true. The whole statement.

He loved how (Y/N) wouldn't be afraid to speak her mind, dirty thoughts or not. Personally, he liked the dirty side of her.

Michael fell in love with the way she wouldn't be ashamed to show the world who she really is, and wouldn't hide behind layers of make-up and designer clothing.

The interview went on, the interviewer sneakily trying to get clearer answers from Michael about your relationship with him.

When you saw the interview on YouTube the next day, your cheeks turned a shade of pink.

You didn't know what Michael meant when he said what he said, so you called him up, not caring if he was asleep or not.

Michael answered slowly, his voice husky.

"Hello?"

His voice sent shivers down your spine. "Mikey?"

"Oh, hey (Y/N)." Michael smiled sleepily. "What's up?"

"I.. watched your interview."

"Which one?" Michael chuckled softly, not wanting to wake the others.

You couldn't help but laugh along. "The one where you answered with.. me being me.."

Your voice suddenly turned soft, he almost didn't catch what you said.

"I meant what I said in the interview, (Y/N). You're yourself and I absolutely love you." Michael said simply, before accidentally ending the call and falling back asleep.
