Chapter 32 - filler chapter

Phil's P.O.V
Everything had been back to normal for a few weeks now, Dan was smiling far more often and is just generally happier, I am too.
I'm just happy to be past all the confused feelings.
"Making pancakes, making bacon pancakes!" Dan sung from the kitchen.
"Take some bacon and put it in a pancake!" I called back.
I could hear him giggling to himself from down the hall and I smiled.
It's all smooth sailing from here, and I couldn't be happier.
"Phil, have you spoken to PJ recently?"
Damn.
"No, have you?" I sighed falling back into the couch.
"No, he isn't answering my calls" Dan said, shrugging.
"I'd doubt he'd want us to just go by without warning, but if he doesn't answer, we'll have to" I sighed resting my head back on the couch.
"If you sink any further back into that couch you'll become part of it" Dan laughed.
"I'm just worried" I shrugged.
"Yeah I know, me too, he'll be okay, he just needs some time, him and Chris were close, it can't be easy" Dan said ruffling my hair.
'mm' I hummed in agreement.
"Phil, now's no time to be sad! Cmon we just booked our flight to Japan, our video about it is going up tonight! Japan dude!" Dan squealed.
I grinned, I was so excited, to go into Tokyo tower and the Pokémon centre, all with Dan too, I hadn't been this excited in a long time.
"Yay!" I said throwing my hands in the air dramatically like an anime school girl.
"Kawaii!" Dan and I said in unison.
"I hate you" He laughed.
"You love me really!" I joked.
He stopped for a minute and I was worried if he was in pain or something, but he looked back at me cheerily before smiling at me and I dropped the anxious thoughts.
"You wish".
He sat beside me on the couch bringing his knees to his chest, oddly resembling L from Death Note.
"Hey I have an idea!" He suddenly perked up.
"Yeah?"
"Yeah! We should throw a party here, before Japan not too big, but a good one, less awkward than Dils, but awkward enough so they know it's a Dan and Phil party" He giggled.
I laughed, I loved Dan's sarcastic humour, and a party doesn't sound too bad! We can afford it, we've each done pretty well this year.
"Seriously?" I asked.
He nodded, grinning, I could tell he hasn't thought it through too much, just sparked an idea by his mood.
"Okay!" I said smiling, and this would be a chance to see PJ, and maybe even Chris?
"Okay we leave for Japan in just over 2 weeks, so next week?" He asked.
"Hm, it's only Thursday, and I think we'll be busy next week with packing and video ideas, for while we're gone, maybe Saturday, it's not too soon but, it's not a work day either!"
"So do we write letter or, um visit people to invite them? Or um-"
"I'm thinking we could send a group text" I laughed.
"Okay! Maybe you should handle that? And I'll, write a shopping list?" Dan said, and I nodded.
'Okay!" I held out my hand and Dan met me for the high-five.
It suddenly dawned on me how silly this was, we were completely acting out on a spontaneous idea, what is the theme? Japhan? I chuckled to myself, maybe it was a good idea, I've never seen Dan so self motivated and I want to stay on that path.

Ok hi yeah this was short but I wrote it in the car bUT OH MY GOSH,,, CRYBABY!?! ANYONE?!!? CAN WE JUST!?????!!????!
