Riker's POV
"Laura! Ready to go?" I asked, from her living room.
"Coming!" She replied back from upstairs.
I stood next to the stairs, resting my arm on the railing.
A few minutes later, I heard footsteps walking down.
I looked up to find Laura wearing black heels, and a body hugging, blue dress with her hair loose and curled.
I stood there, just staring at her as she walked down.
"Dang it! No matter what heels I wear, I'll never reach your height!" She said, making me laugh.
"Laura, your height doesn't matter to me. Plus, I fight height difference adorable," I replied, holding her hand.
"Really?"
"Really😊"
She slightly smiled, and I guess she blushed a little,"You're the sweetest Riker!"
"Anytime.😊"
We soon walked down to the limo I rented specially for tonight.
I know Laura would be miserable, with Ross in her mind. So, I'm gonna do my best to get her mind off of things and just have fun!
"You rented a limo? 😱"
"Well, yeah! Of course😊"
"I can't believe you did this Riker! You really didn't have to."
"I know... But I wanted to😊"

The rest of the limo ride was definitely full of noises and not quiet at all!
Laura and I were basically blasting up songs we asked the driver to play and sang along without a care of what we sounded like.
"Oh my gosh! Make the volume louder! I love this song!" She shouted excitedly, to the song of 'I Want U Bad'
"You know this song?" I had to ask.
"It's one of my faves! C'mon! Turn it up LOUD! Woo!"
I've definitely never seen Laura this happy.
Honestly, I've always seen her happy with Ross.
When he left, she was devastated. And now, I'm smiling as I watch her go crazy singing.
"IN THE BACK OF A TAXI CAB
JUST, ONE TURN AND IT HAPPENED FAST
WE, TOUCHED HANDS AND THEY PULLED IT BACK
YEAH! I WANT YOU BAD!
Riker! Sing c'mon!"
I laughed to her craziness.
She's just so silly.
"Riker! Sing!😂" She kept begging.
"Alright, alright," I agreed.
Soon, we both basically sang a duet.
I'm pretty sure the driver was getting annoyed 😂
"I MIGHT JUST GO CRAZY!
CAUSE YOU'RE MY BEST FRIEND'S BABY!
BUT YOU GOT ME THINKING MAYBE
JUST MAYBE
I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO!
IM IN LOVE WITH SOMEONE ELSE'S GIRL-"

I stopped singing at that part and just suddenly thought for a while.
I'm in love with someone else's girl.
Laura.
Laura's Ross' girl.
But... They're not dating.
Laura likes him.
But they're not together.
So, why did that lyric get to me?...
...
"EEEEEEP!" I heard Laura scream.
The limo made a u-turn and Laura nearly fell.
Once again, Riker to the rescue😂
I grabbed her right away, before her head could touch the ground.
"I seem to be catching you a lot," I laughed.
"I'm clumsy😜 That's just who I am!"
She's using a lyric of Ross' song and yet she didn't get sad or anything...
Looks like she's ok! :D
"We're here!"
The limo driver pulled up and got out as he opened the door to help us out.
Right away, I already heard fans before I came out.
"Laura! Laura over here!"
"Laura! Are you with Ross?!"
Then, an interviewer came with a mic.
"Laura! How does it feel to be away from Ross? Who are you with right now?"
As soon as I heard the interviewer, I pretty much had to help Laura.
I walked over to her, and escorted her away from the interviewer, "Alright guys, let's leave Laura alone."
I know that was a little mean.
But my main priority right now, is to keep Laura happy and no Ross.
"Thanks for getting me out of there!" Laura thanked me.
"Like I said, my top priority right now, is to get your mind off of things :)"
Soon, lights were flashing. Cameras were flicking. Basically like a blinding flash.
"Riker! Laura! Over here!"
"Are you guys dating?!"
"Mom look! It's Laura Marano and Riker Lynch!"
"It's like that picture Rydel posted!"
Wow. Ok. We are not a couple 😜

During the Red Carpet, Laura met up with Raini and Calum.
After that, we also saw, Olivia, Leo, Bridgit, Shane, and a whole bunch of celebs coming as friends.
Like me and Laura.
One thing though... Where's Vanessa ?
"Hey Laura, I thought Vanessa was gonna come with some of her co-stars from Switched At Birth."
"I thought so too :/ But she didn't come home from work yet when you picked me up and I figured that maybe she was already here but... No sign."
Where could Vanessa be?...
