Chapter 37 :)

Laura's POV

As soon as Ross laid me down on the bed, I right away fell asleep.

I was too tired for doing or even saying anything.

I mean, who wouldn't be tired after nearly dying? 😜

But, my opinion is, I don't think Maia should've really gone overboard and push me in the water...

If I were her, I wouldn't even go that far.

I woke up a few minutes later, by the sound of a door closing, but kept my eyes closed as well.

I felt someone sit on the opposite side of me.

I wasn't exactly sure who it was, until he started talking.

"Laura... Look, I know you can't really hear me right now, but I just want you to know how sorry I am, cause I probably can't tell you this when you're awake. I was such an idiot for leaving you... And for taking the movie offer which is miles away, and I won't be home for 4 months. Truth is, I should've never left you. I should've never stood you up at the movie theater back home. I love you, and I really want you to know that..."

Dang it. I couldn't resist.

"Ross... I love you too..."

I turned over, facing him.

"Laura?!"

I smiled to his adorable, shocked face😜

"You uh... You weren't suppose to hear that," he said shyly, playing with his fingers.

"But you meant it didn't you?" I smiled again.

He nodded, looking down on his lap, "I meant it..."

I nodded as well, "Good... Cause I meant it too :)"

Ross' cheeks turned red.

Weird. Cause normally, I would be the one turning red at this time😜

"Do me a favor?" I asked him.

"Anything :)"

"Just stay close to me tonight? And don't go anywhere else..."

"Of course :)"

He got up and turned off the light as he laid down next to me.

Of course, there was still light from the window, coming from the sunset.

But I really don't care...

It actually makes a prettier scene in here :)

He held me tight in his arms, with my back facing him still.

Being with Ross- makes me feel safe...

I have to admit, Maia was lucky to have him for a while.

I do have a few questions in my mind though.

Did he ever carry Maia, the way he carried me?

Did he ever lay next to her, and make her feel like the luckiest girl on earth?

All these questions were all I was thinking of.

But that doesn't matter to me now.

All that matters, is that we're here, together :)


Riker's POV

We were done eating downstairs at the hotel's restaurant.

And like we promised, we bought Ross some cake😜

We walked into the elevator and waited till we reached the 6th floor.

"How long are we gonna stay here?" Vanessa asked.

"Hm. Didn't think of that... Well, it depends on Ross. Wether he quits the movie, or wants to stay and continue it, cause I am not leaving Ross alone in another place until I'm sure he can handle it 😜" Delly replied.

"Ah, there's the overprotective sister," I laughed.

"Oh shut up!" She joked, pushing me playfully.

The elevator doors opened and I ran out before Rydel could hit me again😂

"You guys are silly!" I heard Vanessa yell and run after us.

I opened the door into the hotel room and shut it close right before Delly could get in😂

Ha! Too bad sista!😜

I turned around, expecting Ross to look at me curiously, probably asking what happened to me.

Instead, I see something else.

I smiled, looking at Ross and Laura sound asleep, laying next to each other.

"Riker! Open up now!😂" Vanessa banged on the door.

I opened it quietly and walked out, "Shh... You'll wake them up."

"Wake who up?"

All three of us peeked into the room.

For the R5 Family, (😉) It's like what Ross, Riker, and Rocky did in the Love Me Music Video when Ratliff was singing to Lori Mexican style😂

Rydel was at the bottom, then Vanessa, then me😂

"Aww! That's so cute!" Rydel smiled.

"My little sister's growing up (: And she's already sleeping with her boyfriend before me," Vanessa gave me an evil stare.

Ooookkkk...😂

"Wait, they're already dating?!" I changed the subject.

"Oh wake up Riker!" Vanessa gave me a quick flick on the head.

Ow!😂

"Yeah, I mean, why else would Ross and Laura sleep next to each other if they're not dating?!" Rydel agreed with Vanessa.

"Alright, alright😜"

"Good. Now, can we talk about something else?"

"Ok," we said at the same time.

"WHY AM I AT THE BOTTOM WHEN I AM THE YOUNGEST?!"

"Right! Sorry!"😂

We both got off Rydel and quietly walked in the room.

"I'm tired," Delly yawned and laid down on the couch.

"Yeah, so am I," I said, and threw a pillow on the carpet, laying down there.

"You guys go to sleep :) I think I'll stay up for a while," said Vanessa, still standing.

"You sure?"

"Yeah :)"

Vanessa's POV

I sat there, next to the window, looking out at the beach.

Full moon, starry night sky, waves, sound of the ocean...

What time is it?

I unlocked my phone and saw it was-

1 AM?!

How am I even up this late?

I looked around, to find everyone still asleep.

Ugh, of course they'd still be asleep Vanessa! It's 1 AM! Stupid!

... I'm talking to myself, aren't I?

Anyway, there's just one thing on my mind that I said but haven't thought of.

'My little sister's growing up (: And she's already sleeping with her boyfriend before me."

It just had me thinking... Yeah, I'm older, but she's already ahead of me.

Not that I'm jealous or anything... But all that was on my mind was Riker.

Why didn't him and I have the same relationship he had as him and Laura? :(

"Vanessa?" I heard a faint voice.

I turned around to find Riker half awake, "Riker? Did I wake you up? If I did, I am so sorry."

"Nah... You didn't wake me up. But what are you doing still up at 1 AM?" He asked.

"It's uh... It's nothing," Obviously, I couldn't tell him the truth.

"Come here..."

"What?"

"Come here," he repeated.

I stepped down from the sofa next to the window, and laid down a few inches away from him.

"Closer😜," he laughed this time.

I moved closer to him, where we were face-to-face.

I was pretty curious at this moment.

He wrapped his arms around me, "You said you never slept next to someone you like right? :) Well Not anymore :)"
