Laura's POV
I laid my head on Ross' lap, as he sat, paddling the canoe.
I kept my head up at the sky, looking at the stars.
"You ok? :)" Ross asked me.
"Yeah... Definitely."
Technically... I was really thinking about what Rocky told me.
If Riker does like me, which I don't know if it's true, but... Somehow, I guess it is :/
I can't get it out of my head.
A good night sleep will help. That's what I thought.
"Sleepy?" He smiled, putting the paddle down and looked at me.
"Kinda😜"
"Go to sleep😜 We still got about 20 minutes in the canoe, you can sleep for a while."
"What about you?"
"I'll be fine :) C'mon. Go get some rest."
I closed my eyes shut, as they were starting to get heavy.
I fell into a dreamy sleep after a minute.

"No Maia! No! Leave me alone!"
I heard myself shout and sat up.
I looked around to find myself in our Hotel Room and Ross slowly waking up, "Laura?... What's wrong?"
"Dream! Dream! Bad dream!"
"A-Are you ok?"
"No! Don't touch me!"
"Laura! It's just me! Ross!"
"No! Leave me alone!"
I ran into the bathroom and shut the door.
What did I just do?
...Something got into my mind.
I was paranoid.
The dreams I had back in California, were in my happening again.
And this time, I was dreaming of it here in Puerto Rico.
Which was where the dreams happened.
Kidnapped.
Hurt.
Abused.
Everything.
"Laura?... Please come out..." I heard Ross knock on the door.
I was crying. Emotionally thinking of my dreams.
I ignored the door as Ross kept on knocking, but instead of knocking again, he opened it.
He found me sitting on the floor, my hands on my knees, and my head down.
Ross slowly walked over to me, gently trying to touch me, "Please talk to me..."
"It's gonna happen," I faintly said.
"What? What's gonna happen?"
"My dreams. All of them."
"Laura, what are you talking about?"
"It's Maia! It's Maia I'm telling you! She'll hurt me! She'll tie me to a chair! She'll take me away!"
"Laura, Laura... Please, calm down... None of that is gonna happen. When did you dream of this?"
"I-In California... And now."
"You dreamt of the same thing twice?"
I nodded, keeping my head down again.
"Laura, I promise you... I won't let anyone lay their finger on you. It's ok..."
He kept his arm around me, as I snuggled on to his lap.
"Let's go back to bed..." Ross whispered and helped me up.
He walked me to the bed and laid me down.
I shut my eyes and forced myself into a heavy sleep.

The Next Morning
Ross' POV
"Rossy!" knock knock knock "Rossy! Are you in there, or not?!"
6I opened my eyes wide, and sat up to the annoying sound of the door.
"Ross, who is that?" Laura asked me, waking up as well.
"Rossy! Let's go! We need to get to work!"
We both panicked, "IT'S MAIA."
"Go! Go! Hide!"
Laura jumped out of the bed, and disappeared into the bathroom.
I looked into the silver mirror, and fixed my messed up hair.
As I ran towards the door, Maia kept on knocking.
I opened it.

Maia: Ross! Why did you take such a long time to wake up?
Ross: Oh... Uh, nothing. I just slept late.
Maia: You did? *starts to corner him to the wall* Why? Were you out with someone? Was someone with you at the carnival? WHO WERE YOU WITH ROSS?!
Ross: *against the corner* Maia, whoa, chill. I wasn't with anyone!
Maia: Really now? So, it wasn't you who I saw by the peer on the beach, dancing with some girl? If I hadn't known any better Ross, Laura's here.
Ross: Maia! She is not here! And I thought we were over this!
Maia: It's never over Ross! Not until you're mine! *storms out the door*
Laura: *comes out of the bathroom* Whoa...
Ross: *sighs* I know :/ Laura, she knows.
Laura: What?
Ross: She knows you're here.
Laura: Maia?
Ross: Yes...
Laura: But-
Ross: Laura, if she sees you for real, she'll tell and you'll be asked to leave-
Maia: *suddenly comes in* AHA! I KNEW IT!
Ross: *shocked* M-Maia, it's not what it looks like!
Maia: Oh really? Mr. I Wasn't Out With Anyone Last Night! I saw you Ross! I saw you with a girl! And I knew it was Laura right away!
Ross: Maia, please-
Maia: No! I'm telling the director!
Ross: Maia! No! *grabs her arm*
Maia: Let me go! *tries to get off*
Laura: *watching, shocked*
Ross: Maia, please don't tell anyone!
Maia: Sorry, Ross! But no! If I can't have you, no one can! You lied! You said no one else was here anymore!
Ross: But, Maia-
Maia: What, Ross?! *lets go* What is it that's so special about Laura, that I don't have?!
Ross: Maia, it's not like that!
Maia: Then what?! Is she better than me?! You use to love me, Ross.
Ross: But I loved Laura already before you...
Laura: ...Y-You did?...
Ross: Yes...
Laura: *walks closer to Ross* Why didn't you tell me?...
Ross: Because I thought you-
Maia: Omg, enough of this! I want you to pick Ross. Is it Laura, or the movie?!
Ross: I'm not gonna answer that.
Maia: *takes out a knife* NOW.
