Why does my heart still holds on to you,
At every waking moment, in everything I do.
Why do I have to feel this way?
And if you know, what would you say?
It breaks my heart when I see him with you,
I sit behind the thought, "What I didnt do?"
I wish somehow turn back into time,
And relieve a second that you'll be mine.
I wish no one ever had to know,
This feeling of lovesick pain from head to toe.
Like your heart rips out and tears it in two,
Sitback and watch is all I can do.
In my dreams you say those words I long to hear,
When I look in your eyes, I know your sincere.
So I'll see you later, when the day is through,
When I'm asleep in my bed, DREAMING OF YOU.
