Hearts turning back to God

5/9/2016

Daily Prayer March Week 8 Day 1 at workplace:

During the prayer march, I learnt more about God as I prayed for my workplace, and the neighbouring workplaces, and immediately after the prayer march, I wrote the poem/song entitled Above and Beyond.

Meeting with brother in Christ from another department for lunch at my workplace: 1300H - 1400H

O What a wonderful day of rejoicing! Hallelujah!

Praise the Lord for His Faithfulness and Love for His Children. Thank You, Jesus.

I had the privilege to speak to one of our brother in Christ today during lunch. He will not be with us in the workplace for the next 5 months.

I am so proud and joyful to say that he has taken this step because he has chosen to follow and obey God. Hallelujah! All Glory to God!

Several weeks ago, in the Prayer March Week 2 Day 1, our brother had joined me for the prayer march for the first time. On that day, I could feel that he was shouldering a burden in his heart, which I already felt during Christian Fellowship the previous week. I did not confront him on this to allow him time and space to bring it up if need be. I continued to pray for him.

True enough, 2 days later on Prayer March Week 2 Day 3, the time came.

This is the excerpt of what happened on that day:
The Lord Hears and He Acts

27/7/2016

After the prayer march, I proceeded to the weekly teaching session of our workplace. Today, the session was to be delivered by an invited speaker from another workplace. The session was to start at ~ 8am. However, the speaker was caught in a massive traffic jam and was estimated to arrive at ~9am, which would be the time the teaching session would normally end.

As I was thinking of whether to return to my workplace or stay to wait for the speaker in case he would arrive sooner than expected, a colleague from another department approached me. Indeed, God determines our every step when we submit our lives to Him and trust Him to guide us.

This colleague is a fellow brother in Christ whom I have kept in my prayers. I have prayed to God to speak to him. God has answered my prayers. God has touched his heart. God gave me an opportunity to speak with him. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, I perceive that he has some things which needs to be addressed deep down inside his heart and he is searching for an answer from God. God gave me the opportunity to help address some of his concerns in his life. I am grateful to the Lord for giving me the time and opportunity to speak to my colleague personally because I had felt the burden my colleague was carrying since the week before. I thank God that he was willing to open up to discuss the issues. I thank God for His wisdom in giving counsel to my colleague. Indeed, the delay for the teaching session was planned by GOD for a purpose. All glory to God. Hallelujah!

Every single person is precious to GOD. He loves each and every one of you. I have been praying for all of you and God has heard, and He is at work. Do not take lightly of what God has to say to you. Open your hearts and minds to Him. Listen to His voice. Do not be distracted by the things of the world. Turn to God for your answers.

Today, 5/9/2016, several weeks later, our brother here informed me that the issues that were discussed on that day has been settled to a certain extent and the burden lifted. I am so happy for our brother. Indeed, his countenance has changed and his heart is open to God's voice, which I had advised him to truly listen to and identify in his life on 27/7/2016. He also pointed out to me that on that day, he really needed to hear from God and he had asked God to send someone for him or even half a person to help him in this. When he went for the teaching session and saw me, he knew that God had provided. Our God is so amazing. He truly loves each and every one. It was Providence from God that the lecture for the teaching session was delayed by an hour and allowing us to meet to discuss the issues that he needed to be dealt with at that time. Hallelujah!

I am also blessed to hear that he has been encouraged by all the postings shared in the Christian Fellowship chat group of our workplace over the past several weeks as he faced the issues and challenges during this period.

Our brother has taken a very important step of faith in his life for the next 5 months by obeying the Lord and finally carrying out what he was called to do for his family, and for his walk with God. I rejoice with him to tears that he now realizes the importance of God in his life and his heart is now turned towards God. Through his sharing of what he will be doing for the next 5 months, I receive wonderful Wisdom from our Lord God Almighty to help our brother in Christ to sustain through the coming months and set his priorities and focus in the right direction. Thank You, Lord Jesus, for guiding us.

I not only rejoice for this brother. I also rejoice for another of our brother in Christ, also from another department, whom I have the privilege to pray with every morning during the daily prayer meet in our workplace for the past 4 weeks since we started on 8/8/2016. His heart has also turned towards God and his heart is open to the voice of God.

The hearts of these 2 brothers have now received the Heart of Jesus and I know that they will bring glory to our Lord God Almighty. Hallelujah!

Thank You, Lord for Your Guiding Light, shining the path for us to come to You.

Hallelujah! All Glory to God!

Hebrews 12:1-13 NLT:

12 Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us. 2 We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith. Because of the joy awaiting him, he endured the cross, disregarding its shame. Now he is seated in the place of honor beside God's throne. 3 Think of all the hostility he endured from sinful people; then you won't become weary and give up. 4 After all, you have not yet given your lives in your struggle against sin.

5 And have you forgotten the encouraging words God spoke to you as his children? He said,

"My child, don't make light of the Lord's discipline,
and don't give up when he corrects you.
6 For the Lord disciplines those he loves,
and he punishes each one he accepts as his child."

7 As you endure this divine discipline, remember that God is treating you as his own children. Who ever heard of a child who is never disciplined by its father? 8 If God doesn't discipline you as he does all of his children, it means that you are illegitimate and are not really his children at all. 9 Since we respected our earthly fathers who disciplined us, shouldn't we submit even more to the discipline of the Father of our spirits, and live forever?

10 For our earthly fathers disciplined us for a few years, doing the best they knew how. But God's discipline is always good for us, so that we might share in his holiness. 11 No discipline is enjoyable while it is happening-it's painful! But afterward there will be a peaceful harvest of right living for those who are trained in this way.

12 So take a new grip with your tired hands and strengthen your weak knees. 13 Mark out a straight path for your feet so that those who are weak and lame will not fall but become strong.

Hebrews 12:25 NLT:

Be careful that you do not refuse to listen to the One who is speaking. For if the people of Israel did not escape when they refused to listen to Moses, the earthly messenger, we will certainly not escape if we reject the One who speaks to us from heaven!
