How do I know
How can I see
If You did not show
What I can be

O My Lord God Almighty
For I do finally see
That it is all quite contrary
To what I thought it would be

Your thoughts and ways
Are indeed higher and greater
Above and beyond
All forms of measure

Your Rule and Glory surmounts
Your Wisdom and understanding astounds
Your Truth and Spirit resounds
Your Love and Grace abounds

No eye has seen
Such a captivating beauty
No ear has heard
Truth of such clarity

Jesus, You are My Lord
Your thoughts and ways I shall follow
For indeed I cannot afford
To live in eternal sorrow
