The past few days, Ariana and Gio have been taking all of us with them to meetings and drops. They told us how they sent Chris to school in America, how he became friends with Sean and Jason, and then became the third of the Kings. Gio was surprised at how well Amelia, Connor, and I accepted the gang. That is until we explained Amelia connections to the Diablos and the vipers. I didn't tell them about my connection, that was a story for another time.
I walked downstairs to see Ariana with a letter. "What's that, Zia?"
She smiled and handed it to me. I grabbed it and looked at the front. "Is this?" she nodded. I opened the letter and read it out loud. "
'Dear ms Sydney Annelise Black,
It gives me great pleasure to inform you that the Committee on Admissions has voted to accept your application for admission to The University Of California in San Francisco. I am happy to offer you a place in the first-year class for the fall.' Oh my god, Zia. I can't believe you sent this."
"Sydney it was your dream to go to college, and now you can. Just online." I smiled and hugged her.
"Grazie, Zia. Grazie," I said.
She kissed my forehead. "Anything for you bambina."

The next couple weeks I spent my time doing my online classes. Connor and Chris helped Gio out with the gang while Amelia explored Italy with Ariana. Chris and I check in with Madi every couple days, though it's mostly Chris talking to her. Even though she doesn't show it I know Amelia misses Jackson. She calls him every morning and every night.
I walked over to Amelia, who was sitting on a lawn chair reading. She looked up at me and smiled. "Hey."
"Hey Meels." she looked at me with a 'tell me' face. I sighed. "You should go home."
She set down her book. "Syd-"
"Amelia it has been almost a month, they don't know where we are. And I know you miss Jackson," I told her.
She grabbed my hands. "I do miss Jackson, but I said I would stay until everything has died down. Jason is still looking for you and Chris, if I go back to early he will find you. I promise when it is safe, I will go home, but only when it is safe. Understand?" I nodded my head. "Good now go do your homework."
I rolled my eyes. "Whatever." I laughed.
