(Outside of Alex's Apartment)
"Are you ready to meet my brother?" Alex asked.
"Yes," Lauren responded.
"Alright let's go inside," Alex said.
"Ok," Lauren said.
(Inside of Alex's Apartment)
"Aaron! I'm home!" Alex yelled.
"Hey Alex! Who's this?" Aaron asked.
"This is Lauren! I met her at Brandcast in New York!" Alex said.
"Oh ok! Hi Lauren I'm Aaron, Alex's older brother!" Aaron said.
"Hi Aaron, I'm Lauren!" Lauren said.
"So Lauren, where are you from?" Aaron asked.
"I'm from Toronto!" Lauren said.
"Oh, you're Canadian?" Aaron asked.
"Yes!" Lauren said.
"That's cool!" Aaron said.
"So Lauren do you want anything? Like a drink or a snack?" Alex asked.
"Um a water is fine," Lauren said.
"Ok, I'll get you one," Alex said.
"I'll be right back!" Aaron said.
"Ok," Lauren said.
(Aaron went to the kitchen to talk to Alex)
"Alex, how come you didn't tell me you were inviting your "friend" to the apartment?" Aaron asked.
"Um because I didn't know she wanted to meet you. Also, why did you do the quotations when you said friend?" Alex asked.
"Because it's obvious you like her," Aaron said.
"What it is?" Alex asked.
"Yeah," Aaron said.
"Damn it! Are you serious?" Alex asked.
"Yeah," Aaron said.
"How can you tell?" Alex asked.
"Um, you can totally tell by the way you look at her," Aaron said.
"Well shit!" Alex said.
"What she doesn't know?" Aaron asked.
"Sort of," Alex said.
"What do you mean by sort of?" Aaron asked.
"Like I told her, but she told she had a boyfriend. When she turned me down, I told her I'll try to forget about my feelings so we can be friends, but on Tuesday she broke up with her boyfriend, so I might have a chance," Alex said.
"Ok, but she seems really nice," Aaron said.
"Well she is," Alex said.
Lauren's POV
I wonder what Alex and Aaron are talking about. They're probably talking about me. I hope it's nothing bad. I like Alex and I hope Aaron doesn't hate me.
"Oh, Lauren here's your water," Alex said.
"Oh, thanks Alex," Lauren said.
"You're welcome," Alex said.
"So Lauren, how did you and Alex meet?" Aaron asked.
"Um, that's actually a funny story," Lauren said.
"Oh ok so how did it happen?" Aaron asked.
"Basically I was sitting down at the creator summit, and Alex comes up to me and puts his hand over mine and says, 'I'm gonna marry you one day," Lauren said.
"What? Are you serious Alex?" Aaron asked.
"Yeah why?" Alex asked while laughing.
"That's the first thing you told Lauren?" Aaron asked.
"Yeah," Alex said.
"Ok. So Lauren how did you react?" Aaron asked.
"Um, I was like 'Excuse me?" Lauren said.
"Yup that's what she told me with a confused look," Alex said.
"Ok wow. Alex why did you tell her that?" Aaron asked.
"I don't know because I wanted to get her attention," Alex said.
"Well there's other ways to do that," Aaron said.
"I know but that's the first thing that came to mind," Alex said.
"It's fine Aaron because now when people ask us how we met, we have a funny story to tell," Lauren said.
"Ok whatever," Aaron said.
(Lauren and Alex hung out with Aaron. Later they ordered Post Mates. Then around 9:30 P.M. Alex started noticing Lauren was getting tired.)
Alex's POV
Lauren and I are still here at my apartment and I started noticing Lauren is starting to get sleepy. Maybe I should take her to her AIRBNB.
"Hey Lauren," Alex said.
"Yeah Alex," Lauren said.
"Are you tired?" Alex asked.
"A little bit," Lauren said.
"Do you want me take you to your AIRBNB?" Alex asked.
"Yes, please," Lauren said.
"Ok. Aaron I'll be back," Alex said.
"Where are you going?" Aaron asked.
"I'm gonna go drop off Lauren," Alex said.
"Alright, drive safe. Bye Lauren! Have a good night," Aaron said.
"Yeah you too Aaron. And thanks for having me here," Lauren said.
"No problem," Aaron said.
"Bye!" Lauren said.
"Let's go!" Alex said.
(Because of LA traffic, they got back at Lauren's AIRBNB around 10:30 P.M.)
"Thanks for dropping me off," Lauren said.
"No problem!" Alex said.
"Well I'm gonna go change and probably pass out so this is pretty much the end of the night," Lauren said.
"Alright well I had a fun time with you," Alex said.
"Me too," Lauren said.
"Well goodnight Lauren. I'll text you tomorrow," Alex said.
"Goodnight Alex," Lauren said. (Lauren then gave Alex a hug. And then he left.)
(At Alex's Apartment)
Just got back from dropping off Lauren. Today was really fun. Aaron ended up telling me that it looked like Lauren was flirting with me. That got me happy. I don't know if Lauren feels the same way as I do for her. I never got that answer when I told her about my feelings because she was in a relationship. I hope she does because that would make me really happy.
Lauren's POV
Alex just left. Today was really fun. Aaron is really nice. Today I might have been flirting with Alex, but I don't think he noticed. Alex is a really great guy. I feel bad I had to turn him down when he asked me out, but I was still with Baz. And he has been so sweet for giving some space, but I think it's time for me to tell him how I feel.
