Chapter 44: The Gun Shot

(Months Later)

Lauren's POV
It has been months since we've dealt with Baz. I'm so happy that he might actually be out of my life. Alex and I have been having the best time with just us. I think our life is finally completely back to normal. (Or so she thought)

(Lauren got out of bed and found Alex making breakfast.)

"Morning babe," Lauren said. (She then kissed him on the cheek.)
"Good morning Chicken Nugget," Alex said.
"You're up early," Lauren said.
"I know, it feels weird," Alex said.
"Maybe if you wake up early more regularly, it wouldn't be as weird," Lauren suggested.
"Nah, I'm good. I'll stick with sleeping in," Alex said.
"Ok, whatever," Lauren said.
"Anyway food is ready," Alex said.
"Ok can you serve me please," Lauren said.
"Yeah of course babe," Alex said. (Alex then served Lauren food.)
"Thank you babe," Lauren said.
"You're welcome babe," Alex responded.

(So Lauren and Alex ate breakfast and afterwards Alex went to get ready for a meeting.)

"Alright babe, well I gotta get ready for a meeting," Alex said.
"Ok," Lauren said.

(Alex goes and takes a quick shower. Then afterwards he changes so he can head to his meeting.)

"Alright Lauren I'll see you later," Alex said.
"Wait Alex before you go," Lauren said.
"Yeah," Alex responded.
"Maybe we should go out to a movie later tonight," Lauren suggested.
"Yeah I'm fine with that," Alex said.
"Ok," Lauren said.
"Yeah just let me know what movie and I'll buy the tickets," Alex said.
"No it's fine I'll buy them," Lauren said.
"Nope! We are not gonna have this argument, I'm paying for the tickets," Alex said.
"Alex, it was my idea. So I should at least buy the tickets," Lauren said.
"Nope! I'm buying them and that's final!" Alex yelled.
"Ugh fine!" Lauren said.
"I'll see you after my meeting, bye I love you!" Alex said.
"I love you too Alex, bye!" Lauren said.

(Alex left to his meeting)

(Hours later, Lauren and Alex go to the movies. And they have some time together. After they leave the movie theater, they walk back to their apartment, since they live 5 minutes away from the movie theater.)

Alex's POV
"That was such a good movie," Lauren said.
"It sure was, you chose a good movie to watch," Alex said.
"I sure did," Lauren said.

(While Lauren and Alex were walking this guy with a mask comes up to Lauren and grabs her hand.)

"COME WITH ME PRETTY LADY!" the guy with the mask yelled.
"AHHH!" Lauren screams.
"LEAVE HER ALONE!" Alex yelled.

This guy with a mask comes up to Lauren and grabs her hand. I quickly pull Lauren away from him. I instantly put Lauren behind me. I need to protect her, no matter what!

"I want her!" the guy yells.
"STAY AWAY FROM HER!" Alex yells.

Lauren's POV
Alex and I are going home and this guy grabs my hand. I scream and Alex and pulls me away from the guy.

"Give me her and no one gets hurt!" the guy said. (He then pulls out a gun.)
"Never!" Alex yelled.

Ok, I'm now terrified! This guy has a gun. Alex is trying to protect, but I don't want him getting hurt. This is insane!

"C'mon dude! She probably doesn't wanna be with you! I'm just gonna take her off your hands," the guy said.

(The guy then grabs Lauren's arm and pulls her away from Alex! Alex doesn't let him get away!)

"You ain't going anywhere with her! LEAVE HER THE FUCK ALONE!" Alex yells.

Alex's POV
I can't fucking believe this is happening. Why won't this fucking guy leave Lauren alone. I get that she is hot but she is mine!

(The guy then puts Lauren in front of him and points the gun to her head.)

"One more move and I WILL PULL THE TRIGGER!" the guy threatens.
"DON'T YOU FUCKING DARE!" Alex yells.
"Alex, please help!" Lauren cries.
"Don't worry Chicken Nugget! I'll save you!" Alex said.
"SHUT THE FUCK UP OR I'LL SHOOT HER!" the guy said.
"Dude if you want my money, I'll give you my wallet! Just please don't shoot her!" Alex said.
"I don't want your fucking money, I want her!" the guy responds. (He then starts to caress Lauren's arm.)
"Don't touch me!" Lauren yelled.
"Yeah don't touch her!" Alex yelled.
"Quiet!" the guy yelled.

This fucking guy won't stop touching Lauren and it's getting me fucking pissed off. I swear if he pulls that fucking trigger, he is dead meat!

Lauren's POV
This dude is creepy. He now has a gun to my head and won't stop touching me. I really hope Alex gets me out of here and doesn't get hurt in the process.

"Alright you're coming with me! Let's go blondie!" the guy said.
"No! I don't want to go anywhere with you!" Lauren yelled with so much terror in her voice.
"What did I just say! Let's go!" the guy yelled.
"She said she doesn't want to go! LEAVE. MY. GIRLFRIEND. ALONE. OR. ELSE!" Alex yelled.
"Or else what?" the guy asked.
"Oh you don't want to find out!" Alex threatened.

This guy is trying to get me to walk with him and he still has this fucking gun pointed to my head. My heart is racing so fast. I really hope I'm not gonna die. And I hope that Alex doesn't get hurt because I can't bear to see that happen.

(Lauren then pushes the guy and runs. The guy pulls the trigger and Alex jumps! All you hear is the gun shot and a scream.)

Hopefully you enjoyed this chapter. Another cliffhanger! I'm sorry that it's been a few days since the last chapter but I have been struggling with this chapter. I'm such a perfectionist that I wrote this chapter and then I rewrote it. I still think it kind of sucks, but whatever. Also on Thursday I culminated/graduated from middle school, so I'm officially on Summer Break. So that means focusing on Wattpad full time. So chapters will most likely be coming out faster.
