"I'm going to marry you one day," this boy said while putting his hand over Lauren's.
"Excuse me?" Lauren said.
"Sorry, I was trying to grab your attention," he said.
"Well you didn't have to do it like that," Lauren said.

Lauren's POV It's been a few months since Alex and I discussed about getting a dog. We research puppies to adopt here and there, but it's not a priority. I want a puppy so badly, but I will get one, one day.
Alex's POV I'm laying on the couch, using my laptop. Since Lauren and I want a dog, I'm researching puppies again. And I think I found the perfect one. I just got to tell my wife.
"Lauren!" Alex called out. "Coming," Lauren yelled from the bedroom.
(A few minutes later)
"What happened, babe?" Lauren asked. "Nothing I just wanted to talk to you about something," Alex said. "Ok, what do you wanna talk about?" Lauren asked. "I wanna talk about getting a puppy," Alex said. "Oh ok, so what about it?" Lauren asked. "So I may have found the perfect dog," Alex said. "Wait really?" Lauren asked. "Yeah, so I found this mini bull terrier that right now is 2 weeks old. But we can get him when he is 8 weeks old," Alex said. "Omg! He's probably so tiny," Lauren said. "He is, there's actually a few pictures," Alex said. "Show me!" Lauren exclaimed. "Ok," Alex said.
(So the photos that I have of Moose are screenshots from Lauren's vlog. Just in case you guys start asking me. And the vlog is called, "I NEVER SHOWED YOU THIS" ok anyway back to the story.)

"OH MY GOD! HE IS SO CUTE!!!" Lauren squealed. "I know!" Alex said. "I want him so badly!" Lauren said. "Well first we have to talk to his owners," Alex said. "Oh yeah," Lauren said.
(Later on, Alex called the owners of the puppy. They talked for a bit. Alex was asking questions and so were they. 10 minutes later Alex got off the phone.)
"So how did it go?" Lauren asked. "It went pretty well," Alex said. "When will you know if we get the puppy?" Lauren asked. "I don't know exactly but they'll call me. But I have a good feeling about this," Alex said. "Really?" Lauren asked. "Yeah I do," Alex said. "Ok let's hope we get this little guy," Lauren said. "Yup," Alex said wrapping his arms around her waist. (He then kissed her forehead and she hugged him tight.)
(Ok I'm gonna fast forward to 2 weeks later.)
Lauren's POV So today Alex is going to be getting a call from the owners of the puppy to tell us if we get him. I'm so nervous! I really want this little guy. I hope we get him. But I guess I should go eat since Alex told me he would make breakfast today.
(Lauren went to the living room and found Alex bringing in Post Mates.)
"Alex," Lauren said. (Alex froze in position, not knowing what to do.) "Yes babe," Alex said while turning around. "So when you said you were gonna make breakfast, I didn't know ordering Post Mates was you making breakfast," Lauren said. "Uh well you see, I was gonna make breakfast, but then I kind of got lazy so I decided to order breakfast instead. Please don't be mad," Alex said. "I'm not mad Alex. If you didn't want to make breakfast, you should have told me. I would have made breakfast," Lauren said. "Well I wanted to take care breakfast today," Alex said. "Ok well let's just eat," Lauren said.
Alex's POV Huh, I thought she was gonna be mad. Well, at least she's eating. I wonder when I'm gonna get the phone call saying if we get the puppy. I want to know so badly and I know for sure Lauren wants to know too.
(15 minutes later, Alex gets the phone call.)
(A- Alex DO- Dog Owner)
A- Hello DO- Hi is this Alexander Burriss? A- Yes that's me DO- Oh ok so we talked on the phone before about the mini bull terrier, correct? A- Correct DO- Well after everything you said about you and your wife. And also your home. We will give you both the puppy. (He smiled) A- Oh my god! Thank you! You have no idea how grateful my wife and I are. DO- I bet, well you both do have to wait until he is 8 weeks old. A- Of course, we can totally wait until then. DO- Ok we'll send you more pictures of the next 4 weeks of him. But can't wait to meet you both. A- Me too DO- Alright well I have to go, bye! A- Bye
"Lauren," Alex said. "What did they say?" Lauren asked anxiously. "They said yes!" Alex responded. "Omg! Wait really?!?" Lauren asked. "Yeah, we're getting a puppy!" Alex exclaimed. "Omg! I'm so happy!" Lauren said. "Me too! We just gotta wait 4 weeks," Alex said. "That's fine. It'll be worth the wait," Lauren said. (They then kissed.)
Hopefully you enjoyed this chapter. So they're getting the puppy, aka the Moosie Bear. So I actually don't know how the process of buying a dog from a breeder goes because when we got my dog I was 8 and also it was a surprise. And then my other dog we rescued her from a shelter. So if the process that I wrote is wrong, well I'm sorry. Also thank you guys so much for 32k reads! This book has almost as much reads as my first book! Wow!
