KIARA
"You can't sneak into Miller Lake, Kiara! Are you crazy?!" Dina yells at me.
"You know I have to, Dina. You, out of all people, should know how much that journal meant to me." I push her out of the way.
"Fine! I'm coming to, though!"
"No way, who is going to pick me up from the police station?" I tease her.
"Kiara!" Dina slaps my arm.
"I'm kidding, it'll be easier to move alone. I'm not doing anything illegal anyway..." I trail off, knowing very well I was banned from Miller Lake
Dina gave me a doubtful look. I threw her a kiss and left for Miller Lake.
Covering my face with my hat, I walked in front of the door and pulled the doorknob. To my surprise, it was open. Miller Lake was currently under inspection. I walked in and saw some people looking around and doing stuff with the pipes.
And this is when I knew, God looked down from the Heavens and saw me struggle, because not a single person noticed me walking in.
I took this opportunity to sneak into the locker room. Quickly opening my locker, I see my beloved journal lay on top of my spare clothes. I grabbed everything and sneaked out. I was so happy! I didn't get caught!
And this is when I realize, I spoke too soon.
