Shelby's POV
Black. All I see is black. It surrounds me like a blanket. No room to breathe. No room to speak, but plenty at the same time.
"Hello? Is anyone there?" I call out to no one in particular.
No answer
"Anyone? Momma? Daddy? Michael? Anyone!!" I scream, curling up in a ball on what seems to be the floor.
"Over here! Come quickly young child!" Someone said.
I got up, tears racing down my face.
"Which way?!?" I said
"No way in particular, you will get there eventually," The voice said.
That made absolutely no sense at all.
"But, where am I going? How will I know its the right way to go?" I said back to the voice.
"You are going no where in particular, so all of the ways that you could go can't possibly be wrong! If you are going no where in particular!" The voice said cheerfully.
What??
"Umm okay," I started walking.
"Mother!" I say running to her
"You'll get there eventually," she said, and then disappeared.
I kept walking.
"Daddy!" I said running to him.
"You'll be there one day!" He said.
Then he disappeared.
I kept walking.
"Michael!" I said running to him.
He didn't say anything, and disappeared.
"Hey, random voice! A little help here??" I called out
"You don't need any help, when you are going no where in particular," that was really annoying.
"That's not really helping," I said back.
"No where in particular,"
"Please stop!" I said.
"No where in particular,"
More voice chime in at once
"No where in particular,"
"No where in particular,"
"No where in particular,"
"PLEASE STOP IT NOW!!!" I screamed, curling up into a ball again
"No where in particular,"
"No where in particular,"
"SOMEONE HELP ME PLEASE!" I screamed again
"NO WHERE IN PARTICULAR,"
"NO WHERE IN PARTICULAR,"
"AHHHHH!!" I screamed
"NO WHERE IN PARTICULAR," I said,
I was now sitting in a hospital bed.
