Shelby's POV
"Shelby, Shelby! wake up! were here, Shelb," I heard Michael whisper into my ear.
"what, where are we," I said, looking up from his chest.
"Welcome to Louisville, Kentucky, Shelb," he said happily.
A sign that said "Welcome to Louisville Kentucky, home of the Kentucky Derby," was put up, as we went across a bridge. I could tell that we were way west of the actual city, because all of the bridges that went over the Ohio River where that way. I could tell it was a smaller city, but I really liked it. It seemed kinda 1950s gangster. As we rode into the city, all of the bridges and the buildings were lit up with lights
"Oh Michael this city is beautiful! Thank you, Applehead!" I said
"No problem, but I've never been here before, Kenny, bill any hotel suggestions?" He asked
"Oh the Galt House is REALLY nice, it's got a restaurant at the top floor with a room that slowly spins, it's really nice as far as the rooms go," Bill said
"Alright then, Take is there, Kenny!" Michael said happily.
It was around 1am and I was SUPER
tired. But the beautiful river and the lights shining on it was just to breath taking.
"We're here," Kenny said, pulling up to a hotel with three big buildings and a cat walk to connect them.
"Wow, this is really nice, Bill will you see if you could get us three rooms, Shelby and I can share," Michael asked.
Bill went inside an talked to a woman at the desk. He came back and said:
"I told her that I have a really tired Michael Jackson and a girl on her period please get us some rooms, so we have three suites, they all have two bedrooms and and a living room," Bill said
"Okay thank you so much Bill, come on, let's go!" Michael said happily
We ran in the building together and up to the room number Bill gave us. When we walked in it was breath taking.
"Oh my god Michael, this is the most beautiful hotel I've ever seen!" I said hugging him.
"I'm glad you like it," He said laughing
"Alright which bedroom do you want?" Michael asked.
We looked at both of the rooms and I chose the one that was a little bit smaller.
"Do you need me to tuck you in like a baby?" Michael said in a baby voice
"Yes, yes I do, now come!" I said laughing
I laid in the bed and Michael came over and pulled the covers up over my stomach.
"Thank you Applehead," I said
"No problem Shelb, goodnight," He said kissing my forehead.
"I love you!" I said to him
That was the first time I said that straight away. It felt good.
"I love you more," Michael said, walking out of the room.
What a good night.
Michael's POV
After I'd finished "tucking Shelby in" I walked into my bedroom and began to get ready. I brushed my teeth and but my hair in a small ponytail, and got into bed.
For some reason, I couldn't sleep, so I decided to look at the view of the outside of the city. It was absolutely stunning how beautiful such a small city could be. After about 15 minutes I dosed off.
It was about 3:30am when I heard Shelby screaming.
