I looked straight towards the fence that surrounded an abandoned park.

It was gloomy, but the feeling wasn't unsettling.

On the drive here the silence shared was one of solace, but the anticipation within grew stronger and stronger.

At this point, our transparency and our intimate moments hadn't yet confirmed to me if he had planned to leave me, or whether it was a way to prepare me for a future with him.

"Why here?" I solemnly whispered.

A smile spread across his face and revealed those charming dimples.

"To cut you up and steal your pieces.."

I narrowed my eyes.

"Alright Michael,"

"...so I can be whole,"

And just like that, the way we were gazing  at each other was ten times more passionate than our physical encounters.

"Come," He opened the door. But before leaving, he turned right back and faintly smiled.
"Actually, stay,"

My hand was still on the car handle. He reappeared right next to me and swung the door open, taking me off guard.

"Shit," I fell on the floor, my legs still inside the car.

He chuckled, "I'm so out of practice, sorry Aster," he carried me, shock still evident on my face.

He dropped me gently on my feet and intertwined his fingers with mine. It was so effortless.

"So what is this place?" Curiosity got the best of me.

"Did I ever tell you about my parents?" I know he knew the answer to that. But he was basically addressing that his parents are associated with this place.

He left my hand to unlock the chains on the gate. But the warmth of them engulfed me seconds later.

"Tell me?"

"I will," he stated firmly. I remained silent as we walked towards a massive Ferris wheel. It looked like it was out of service.

I held my tongue, because I just didn't understand what was happening.

"Be patient," he quickly ran into the counter right next to the wheel.

In a second, any colour you could imagine, illuminated the starless sky.

It was magical. My neck strained from how far I tilted it backwards. But I couldn't revert my eyes from the vibrant Ferris Wheel.

I turned my head towards his glowing eyes and followed his ushering hands in a daze.

While we took our seats, I saw the manual control in his left hand.

"Can I press it?" I said rigidly.

"Why?" Not seeming quizzical, but weary that I was onto something.

"For once, I want to feel in control of the start of something new in my life,"

The look he gave me held so much depth.

He gave me the manual controller. "Here, I give you full control of my life as well,"

I shut my eyes, affected by his words. Reluctant to believe that I do have authority to govern his world.

I pressed the red button. The ride started to screech gradually before it smoothly went on its own pace.

I leaned backwards as he automatically encircled his arms around me. I tilted my head towards him, sensing that he had so much to say.

"Your words resonated within me. You have been stripped of 90% of your rights Aster... it's only fair that you begin making your own decisions from this day onwards," He spoke wholeheartedly.
